    Is that recently?

Over the last moth, 3 months or year?
Perhaps you’d like to qualify the statement.

We are not seeing any significant slowdown here.
Although some individual site are slower this month,

However overall, poker, casino and sports performing to expectations.

Most affiliates who have been active for 36 months or longer or who had a high percentage of US based players experienced a significant drop off in earnings.

This is a result of UIGEA, tightened banking, Player drop off due to long withdrawel delays, US and Canadian consumer concerns over legality, and the withdrawel of many programs from the US and Canadian Markets.

The only people who were NOT effected were newbies who didnt have an exisiting account base to lose and affiliates who had concentrated their marketing efforts outside the US and therefore did not see the same drop off the rest of us did.

Casino sites are doing well. The only thing which slows down earnings for me is that some of my players are winning constantly and this affects my earnings ofcourse. But I am happy so far. It is correct US players and Canadian players can not withdraw that easy so they might stop playing at a certain time.

On the other hand maybe your players need to cool off for a while before they play again. I see this a lot.

If you have “heavy” gamblers they might have found other casinos to gamble. I do not like those more experienced players because they can easily put your monthly earnings down the drain. “keep it slow but steady” :)

    Good Luck

Do not loose faith as I saw a serious drop in revenue over the past few months, but hang in there…

It is because of saturation, US situation, payment solutions, change in laws etc…

    Thangs will turn around.

Poker revenue is down about 50% this month , Suprised as it has been growing every month for the past 3 years .

    Casino revenue is normal ,

I generally agree with what the Prof said, but I would add that the choice of casinos on your site, those that take US players, is crucial. I have experienced steady growth on one of my US focused sites this year and all I did was change over to casinos who had payment solutions that worked and relegated those who didn’t. It’s worth investigating.

I’m talking about the past 3 months and especially at poker and blackjack sites. You don’t have to remained me that revenues are down since the US closed its gates.
I have to say that online bingo was not effected by the US low, most of online bingo player are British

    I Agree Simon,

It’s a war of attrition now. It’s probably not going to get any better until a change of Administration here in the US. But as the lame duck Bush gets closer to Jan 09, the less interested the DOJ will be in actively persueing online gambling entities. As well, the less interested banks will be in stopping such transactions. A law is only as good as the intent to enforce it. I see very little intent to enforce this one, except for a few Bible Thumpers, and they are on their way out of office shortly.
