    Lucky Bastard!

I love Vegas and havent been there yet this year.

Where do you stay in vegas?

My favorites are Paris and Caesers, though I am probably going to try Venetian out on my next visit.

This time around it’s the Bellagio.

I can’t wait to be a successful webmaster like you guys; the nicest hotel I can afford in Vegas is the Aladdin. LOL

LOL – Actually, I stay at the Aladdin too. However, this time around the best package deal was at the Bellagio (only about $100 more). Ceasars was about the same as Bellagio, but I’ve stayed there before.

What’s funny also is that the rates change from week to week. Sign up with all the casinos so that they will email promos and watch the airline rates. Cheapest to go during the week if you can.

But hell Randy, you could drive there! I could too but it would take me 42 hours if I went non-stop.

I gotta tell you. The Aladdin is really nice. I love staying there.

I’ve played at Caesars but never stayed there. Didn’t much like it to tell the truth.

I had a 5 night stay comp’d at the Venetian a couple of years ago because of my job, but had to cancel my trip because my mother passed away a couple of days before I had to leave. I understand it’s very nice indeed.

Take it from a fat guy the Buffet at Aladdin rules!

Actually I like Aladdin too. It has high speed internet access in all rooms ($9.95 a day) and the tables dont use Shuffle Master. All cards are dealt by hand, so its more leisurely and you don’t burn through money as quickly.

I love Caesers because I had my biggest wins there over the years. One of my favorite Vegas stories, that I like to bore people to death with, is the time I started with $50 and ended the night up $18,000 after a marathon session at a high stakes craps table there. Plus some other memorable Caeser experiences like playing blackjack with Jimmy Johnson (at that time he was Dallas coach) make it near and dear to my heart.

Gotta love the forum shops too.

Damn!!! I miss Vegas. If I wouldn’t gamble myself broke I think I would move there for the winters.

You’re right–the buffet at the Aladdin RULES!

And Shufflemaster might stink if you’re a blackjack player, but it’s a helluva nice stock. (SHFL)

    Lou,

You may remember that I have family there, so I am out there 3 or 4 times a year. Yes, I am always welcome to stay with the family, but we all know how that goes.

Anyway, condos are fairly reasonable in and around metro Las Vegas. Taxes for residents are not bad either (it’s the tourists they kill). Living in Florida, you understand the comparison I am trying to make.

The point is, you may want to look into buying some property there for your use a couple of times a year and rent it out the rest of the time. Believe me, you will get your morgage paid and have a free place to stay when you in the mood. I am going to be looking at some property while I am out there also for that very reason. I’m not looking at condos though, more interest in finding vacant land and building a home. I hate condo associations and paying monthly maintenence fees. It’s cheaper to hire a landscaper and my family can look after the property.

    Food for thought big guy!
