Now don’t you owe me a beer regarding our bet on Party Poker’s Share Value? :rollover:

Or was it the other way around? :dajudge:

If it was somewhere warmer I would go… but I’m not about to spend 4k to go from -30 to -10.

Yes, they should do London in the summer and Vegas in the winter…Costa Rica in the winter… People will be a lot more receptive to go to a place that has nice weather at the time.

London never has nice weather. Even in the summer. It’s the law over here. That having been said, I might well be attending ICE. It’s only 40 minutes on the train from where I live.

Vegas in winter can be friggen cold, it is a desert but it has a bad season. it has snowed and bad winds when I have been there. Just stay in the Casino which they want you to do.

I am tempted to go. I can get to London easily enough, but would have to take time off from my full time job. Do you think it’s worth the trip?

As an exhibition, last year it was mainly land-based machines. Very big and with a few of the “online” gambling people exhibiting. I’d add though that it was worth it for me from a Networking POV. Met several of the Aff programs there and if you don’t get to attend the Vegas and Amserdam events, its a good opportunity to meet them. I’d email a few aff programs and if they are all heading over again, fix up a day of meetings. They also organised some evening events. :capmiami:

Just a Q… I am new to all this, in terms of setting up meetings, getting info, that sort of thing. What kind of questions should I be asking?

What kind of information should I be looking for?

Want to maximise the value of my outing.

I’d email the programs, find out whose going, fix up some meetings. Face to face meetings with the aff programs are a big help and help forge relationships. As for questions, then thats really “how long is a piece of string” but its always good to just run through what you are doing/plan to do and likewise with the aff programs – find out which games work best, what offers work best, how banners perform in different markets, which “features” of their casinos convert well, talk about landing page options etc etc. You pick up some useful tips.
