InactiveI think perhaps Herby is trying to avoid the fallout from the cruise that never was.
It is supposedly rescheduled for August, but the continued downtime of the IAFMA site suggests otherwise.

vladcizsolMemberIlaughma is dead but Herby is reluctant to face the music or return any of the monies he collected for the booze cruise that sank in April.
He has had the same message posted at iLaugma stating he’s upgrading the message boards for nearly three weeks. Uhhh a script upgrade only takes an hour or two. I have done them many times, as have most of us.
If you go to the Affiliate Farce website it still says the cruise is set for April. Now don’t you think if there was an alternate event planned in August he would some how pry a few minutes out of his hellishly busy schedule to update the site with the new proposed dates?

InactiveBernie, your mailbox is full.
The last time anyone heard from Herbie was the 20th of April, when he defended himself in another forum against accusations of theft.
Beyond that he seems to have disappeared.
How much money? I don’t know, but there were some large sponsors. You can see them here: http://iafma.org/summit/summit-2004-sponsors.html.
We have in casino members Referback, Income Access, Casino Blasters, Club Dice, Housewinnings, Goldenstarnetwork, Fortune Affiliates, Money Mechanics and – yes – VirtualGamingConference – yours truly. Then there are quite a few delegates. I personally paid for 3 cruise tickets, a table at the exhibit, and a whole bunch of passes for events. Plus the airfare, but that wasn’t through him.
I am out of some $1500 paid to IAFMA, and I magine you can multiply that by 30 or a lot more for other delegates. I was just a gold sponsor – small fry. Then there are the platinum sponsors – I think they paid $7500. The ones mentioned above are just casino sponsors, there are more than that not in this industry.
Additionally, there are $5000 for each the casino evening, $5000 for sponsoring lunches and dinners each, $ 5000 for sponsoring cocktail receptions each, $2000 to sponsor the Olympics and $2500 for each expo presentation.
The casino evening was sponsored by Referback.
The Professor warned me repeatedly but I went ahead and planned for the event anyway. At least I went into it with open eyes and fully aware of the great chance that my money could be lost. There are a lot of delegates who never considered that possiblility.
