There are some ridiculous points in the proposal too, that I think most operators will not be willing to follow, my guess is that it is easier for them to leave the market than to adhere the regulations. The proposal wants operators to have a server in Hungary on which they would need to keep all data of the Hungarians and give full access to the Hungarian tax authority (!!!).

I think it would make sense for operators to demand that any winnings in licensed operator sites are tax-free as this is the case in land-based casinos who pay a license fee in Hungary.

Any operators out there with an opinion?
