InactiveYour post that this bill passed was obviously premature. It’s confusing to watch because there are many votes about parliamentary issues, and possible amendments. But the real vote hasn’t happened yet.

Inactivehonestly it looks as though it isn’t going to pass, however, someone requested a record vote, and thats what we’re waiting on now..

InactiveKeep in mind that the U.S. Senate also needs to vote on this bill to make it an actual law. Hundreds of bills are passed by the House every year, but many of these bills die in the Senate.
So — the story isn’t over yet.

InactiveIt was still a disgusting display of lies and cowardice.
We are thinking about making a site that talks about the real difference of online vs. offline gambling and disputes a lot of the myths that are being sold to the American people by their Congressmen/women.
I know it will probably not become law this year with all of the remaining hurdles, but it is still disappointing to see such a one-sided vote. (317-93 on final passage if anybody was wondering)
