InactiveCan I get a job with you?

I find it easier to manage to just pay my mods a nominal amount per month. That way they know what they are getting and I know what I am paying for.
Or, you can hand out “bonus” money for a certain number of posts made.
Lots of people will also happily volunteer to mod, most of the aff forums have volunteer mods.
Well, at least now you can put your own banner there and you know what to expect from that spot…

InactiveI am so sorry to hear this. I work for others and i appreciate anything i get paid, its all needed. But for this person to out right take advantage of your kindness is wrong, and will no doubt make your weary of hiring others, and thats a sad thing. I can’t believe they did not offer to pay you a percentage of whatever they made off your site per m onth seeing how well they were doing with your spot, on your website? Very greedy, and it will come back at them in the future one way or another.

InactiveNo, Triple 777 its not taking advantage. My own fauly I gave it away. I just could not have imagined it would turn out to be the best affiliate this year. Kinda blows when all my others fall flat and it pays well. I guess im just venting and making a note, that giving away banner and aff space may not be the best idea, although; sounds very noble. Not the best idea.

InactivePretty ironic if you ask me.. It’s like buying someone a lottery ticket for their birthday, they win the 22 million jackpot, and you cry yourself to sleep every night for the rest of your life.
I bet this happens every single day.
I hope that you change the link back to your own and get a whale just as big.. I bet the guy is making all the money from only 1 player anyway

StarBucksSportsMemberI don’t really think the other person is in the wrong or taking advantage. Seeing it any other way would basically mean that you also agree to affs programs closing affiliate accounts after affiliates stop promoting them (which I know is a big no-no).
It’s all a learning curve. Chin up, and move forward wiser, is all I can suggest :hattip:

Inactivewell you saw after only 3 months. could have been 15 months.
the ethical question now is do you replace it with an indentical banner only with your id or try a totally different casino/offer?April 8, 2009 at 10:28 am #798311Anonymous

InactiveI do think the other person is in the wrong – he was given the ad space in exchange for services as mod. Then he quit moderating – he should have notified the site owner and told them so and given the ad space back.
In any case, this is why I shy away from having partners. People have changes in life style, and you are stuck with twice the work and half the pay.
When you give away part of the profit the site makes, you have in effect a partner.
