InactiveThat’s a nice approach mate. Well done.
:Nod:I simply stopped my email list about a year ago.
It was great for a couple of years (2000-2001), effective for the next couple (2002-2003) but after that responses and results dried up.
Personally I think that email lists are a dead end now – the onset of SPAM, SPAM filters, black lists, SPAM busters etc has killed it.
Be honest – how much of the bulk mail that you get (that isn’t a personal 1-to-1 communication) do you read? Even when the SPAM has been chopped I still reckon that less than 5% of my own personal subscribed mails get read.
:omg:Still – your approach is cleanly done … a simply link to an exclusive page.
I DO LIKE IT!!

InactiveThanks!
That’s what I’ve had the most luck with-The simple link to an exclusive page. I’m surprised you stopped your list. Where else can you find such pre-qualified, targeted visitors than your own email list–people in my case who signed up BECAUSE they are interested in online gambling, playing at online casinos etc.
Also, if I ever decide toi sell my site, I think a large an email list of this type can greatly increase my asking price.

InactiveI continue to do fine with my newsletter.
I like them – you just have to make sure the people really want it and put you on their white list.
