There is a recent thread some place else here about this.
People are totally disagreeing on it, so your guess is as good as any.
I change mine a lot, almost daily, and I do well.
Others who also do well say that one should never touch it once it ranks well.
So, take your pick. :hehe:
Some webmasters think that dramatic changes in titles, keyword density or in the amount of words may be interpreted as an attempt to manipulate results by doing over optimization.
In my case I make changes often but trying to keep the above similar.Sections of my homepage change near daily and i’m always adding new articles to my site.
Maybe google has gotten smart enough to check whether changes in title/keywords etc go hand in hand with actual content changes or not.
I change whatever I want depending on what goes on with the site, but I rarely just tweak optimisation. It only gets tweaked when I also make content changes.
Thanks for the input. You have answered my next round of questions without me having to ask them.
