Inactive3 months work to have your $500
after that just climbing
(rough estimation0
but i think it’s not the quantity of time that counts
but the quality of what you do exactly

InactiveI agree with elgoog.
A lot depends on quality, not quantity. And the timing seems about right.

InactiveGetting some good organic SEO, rather than ‘buying’ 10,000 clicks
Manually building good backlinks rather than ‘buying’ 10,000 backlinksetc

jarimhMemberMan this is such a wide open answer, probly not what you wanted to hear. If you’ve got a good site going and you can write at least ok content then you have a chance. Getting to $500 per month though could take anywhere between 6 months and a year in my opinion.
Posting a few more details of your site etc might help us see what’s going on and if you are on the right track.

erm
things like:
– picking the right brand/casino you promote (what country and currency is your traffic from)
– dont make seo mistakesMay 11, 2010 at 1:20 pm #810112Anonymous
InactiveThe question is so very general, it is difficult to answer.
You will get a lot better answers if you show something you have done and people can suggest how to improve it…

InactiveIf ur a complete newbies id say 12 months.. 3 is a bit optomistic

greendaveMemberI Started over year and a half ago, did not really know much, had a low budget bingo site that never really amounted, i gave up, did not do anything. Did the old kevin costner thing and thought everyone would just show up, well the truth is they didn’t. Not even James earl jones bothered to come over.
The thing is i started again, over that time i’ve learnt a lot, a bit more about design, seo and link building.
My site still needs some work, i’m hoping that through this forum i’ll get the missing dna links for some partial success.
I know i want nothing more than this, i look forward to getting home from work to do this. This is why i know i have things the wrong way around.
I’ll be working out of the UK and directly against that market.
I’m open to anything. A year for $500.00, i’m sorry but makes me look like a slacker, we can do better than that. If any other newbies to casino i mean have some good stories to offer and more so, realism, i’m open to that.
Aswell as the successful titans who join us here, i’m lending you my ears.
Take care

InactiveThe affiliate scene is littered with affiliates that never break through and never make regular earnings.
Conversely, there are many affiliates who are earning thousands, and tens of thousands of dollars each and every month.
The difference between the two groups is probably as simple as :
– passion for the project and the website that they are working on.
– creating original content – not just banners and sales pitch
– creating a unique view or personality around the site.If you have a genuine interest in the area that you are writing about (and not just trying to fleece the visitors) then that will show through in your writing and you will succeed.
:hehe:Add in a reasonable SEO processes on your webpages and on your site – and a handful of good links – and you will easily make $1,000 a month with 2-3 hours work a day.
However, ignore any one component (SEO or links, or unique content) and you will find yourself with a dead ghost town of a site that no-one visits, no-one bookmarks and no-one uses, and that generates little value.May 11, 2010 at 10:13 pm #810130
greendaveMemberHe says it like it is, that’s the best bit of news i’ve found from this forum yet. I want to make this work, £1000 a month 2-3 hours a day, that sounds like a plan.
My weaker part of those three components is without doubt SEO
Is it true that casino keywords are saturated and that new comers must rely upon tail ending and long term words as apposed to the big boys.
Thanks in advance

volonetMemberI would say $500 a month could be fairly easy to make if you are willing to put in 4 hours a day. Like the others said don’t expect it to come right away, it could be up to a year before you see any results at all. Stick with it and it will work out for you.

greendaveMemberThis gets better, like the those who lead the way keep saying, persistence is the main element. It can be difficult with hardly any page views, on going SEO and poor links, but things have to grow i guess.
I posted somewhere else that the American gambling laws could one day open the flood gates for registrations. Any thoughts on this, after all, us little fish need to eat some time.
Thanks James

InactiveThere are a ton of indicators that the US will open up sooner rather than later now. I wrote an article on that in the current IGBaffiliate magazine.
Since that article, Party Gaming established offices in Los Angeles – another indicator that we are close and closer.

bealMemberHello everyone!
I’ve been in the affiliate business for more the 1,5 years and i just realised how simple it is!
It’s easy to make money if you are willing to invest your time and strategies to lure the potential clients. My offline job was working at Orange Mobile, signing people for their services. This was easy but didn’t really gave satisfaction. Affiliate business does.
In 1,5 years i’ve bought 5 domains, started a really cool site network and realised that quality counts! ROI counts! SEO counts! Once you get the hang of it’s like riding a bicycle! To every new affiliate that are disapointed in the first months: HOLD ON! Think about it! IT’S WORTH IT! HANG ON! GOOD TIMES WILL COME!
Best 2 all,
:cappy:Pokerhawk
