Do you dislike design work or is it just a monotonous design?

I’m not sure why, but sugar has always kept me awake more so than caffeine. If I’m trying to push through something I really don’t want to do, I’ll down a bag of skittles and put on some a capella music. That way I can at least sing and [try to] dance to keep myself awake.

I’m moving the site from html to wordpress so it’s all just copy and paste, read it over, change some words around, etc. There’s very little design work to do for now.

I could use a bag of skittles right about now

It also depends on the weather at your place. If it is pleasant and you do not feel either chill or sweaty, you may feel sleepy always. Catch some good sleep and then begin to work. I keep peanuts, cookies and other things which take time to munch. This way it goes on. But when I am real sleepy and mixing up the things in my sentences, I close the lid of laptop and get some sleep.

    Get the bag of skittles!

Its still pretty normal to be sleepy… How about some good music while you work??

Clearly you are sleep deprived and your body is letting you know. Sleep more and work less.

I’ve got the music cranking and I’m now on a sugar rush.

Antoine, I do need more sleep or better sleep. But I do think this mundane work plays a big role.

Just saw a TV-program about study drugs… Don’t really know what kind of medicine this is, but maybe an idea… :kidding:

I sleep about 4-6 hrs a day. Last night I had 4hrs – today I feel fine.. woke up 9am!

6hrs and I am function quite fine.
On 4hrs today, I make sure I wear a hoody which I feel comfy in, I have headphones, cool weather, darkish room, and a top down list of items I need to knock out – otherwise my focus isnt there.

I’ve had my first coffee for the day, and its 3pm. I feel good.

If I was crashing too early, I’d have had a redbull.

Saying all that.. now days, I know if its 2am and I have work to do, I’ll go to sleep, get 6hrs, and then start again with a fresh head. Was finding I was making mistakes and taking twice as long to complete tasks when I was tired.

Fonzi… I totally feel you… I too have experienced those days… YIKES! And, sometimes you’ve just got to power through. Set small little deadlines and just meet each step. Lots of coffee and God Bless Pandora!

And just seeing this… I certainly hope you are sleeping now!

I think its important to sleep whenever you are tired. I rarely stay up late anymore doing work. If I feel tired, I usually take a nap or go to bed. There’s no point risking your health just to get some extra work done IMO :)
