Hi all,
I’m so sick of my hosting company on one of my sites not performing on holidays or weekends …. I’m ready to take a loss on investment
can anyone tell me how i switch hosting …. sorry to be so dumb
do i just buy hosting and then switch dns?

you buy new hosting, copy the site, test it, then point to the new hosting companies DNS. Someplaces want you to point domain to them when you sign up, don’t change it until the site is running and tested

thanks guys. Most appreciated. guess I’m in fighting mode tonight. the sight is back up …… much more quickly than usual..
but I’ve tired of it always going down always on weekends and holidays. I know (according to my stats) that these are days when traffic runs least….. but i cannot help but think that the people who DO visit at these times are the most likely to sign up. I know that would be the case with myself.
