If I was single l would move with a quickness to an island but that is not the case so I make sure to pay my taxes since I cannot do my kids any good sitting in prison cell .

Its best to just do it by the book and not have to worry about it. I take every deduction I can but I save all my receipts in the unlikely event of an audit. The IRS can take your business away from you overnight. I don’t want their attention.

Since were in the U.S. , we do everything legitimate.

I’ve got another tax question though… What to say about our income (casino affiliate commissions) if we ever get audited ?

I saw on a couple affiliate privacy policies (referback was 1 i believe) that were not allowed to reveal that our affiliate income is coming from them.

So what do we say…and how much will the auditors push us to get the truth ?

When I worked at Nortel in the 90’s during the high tech boom one year my income tax rate was 50%. Thanks Bill.
