InactiveI asked this question about a month back, and got some great replies. After much research, and putting reliability at the top – I would suggest these 2 companies.
I went with : VPS | VPS Hosting | Virtual Private Server | Virtuozzo VPS | Liquid Web
but Cloud Computing, Managed Hosting, Dedicated Server Hosting by Rackspace is also good.

Shared is OK, assuming you are not sharing an IP address with any websites that are spamming or doing blackhat activities. If Google bans your IP because of this, your site will be immediately delisted.
Blackstone1 – I would suggest looking at Colosseum Online Inc. – Toronto Colocation Data Center, Webhosting, Dialup, DSL, High Speed and more as they understand the iGaming industry and it’s nuances quite well.

daniel asanteMemberThanks, I think it must be a good idea to change to VPS, I don’t know when of those sites sharing my ip will do black seo.

Also on shared hosting if you want to do things emailing, or use database and process intensive things – shared hosting company can shut your website down because they think you are using more then your fair share of resources on the server.

I also wanted to mention rackspace, but as they were the first encounter I had with cloud hosting I assume other good cloud-hosting companies have similar features: It is the easiest and cheapest format when you want to use multiple VPS servers. Setting-up a new server with an individual IP (it is not considered an exclusive address but the IPs I was issued so far only have my corresponding domain
on their C class, and that what matters from SEO viewpoint) is easier that ever and you are only billed for actual bandwith/storage-space you actually used.I have previously stated that I’m a big advocate on not only VPS but also clean C classes, which in physical hosting methods was quite expensive services. The cloud makes it much more affordable and manageable, IMHO.

InactiveIf you are okay with shared hosting then another solution would be SEO Hosting (same company as Host Gator). They are a good option because relatively cheap and you can have your sites on multiple C-Classes.
I have heard some affilaites have had issues with Host Gator in the past but I have actually had a pretty good experience with them.
