Ivo van BeekMemberWow, I was trying to to laugh but I couldn’t help it either… I wonder what she was thinking while she was reading the names.

Ditto, you got to ask yourself, huh! Strange, I’m asking myself that question a lot these days

voodoomanMemberApparently some intern with a wicked sense of humour.
Reminds me of pre-penguin times when you could publish any old bullsh1t to get ratings.

You still can actually . Just test out what works best (dont try on a main site)

Ivo van BeekMemberI wonder if it really was an intern, I think they just said it was an intern so they wouldn’t get as much slack. I just think it was a normal reporter who got the names, didn’t even read the pilot’s names and ran it to the producers where they didn’t read the names either. They just blamed it on a nameless intern. Thats my conspiracy theory!

I find it hard to believe no-one vetoed this information before it went to air. Radio stations who have talk-back use a 7sec delay for a good reason. I think it’s very picular a TV station would not have protocols in place to check information (regardless of what that is), before going live.
Maybe they do and someone screwed up.
Reminds me of the tales we used to be feed a few years back by site owners who had obviously scrapped content and were busted. Their excuses were similar blame game lines: I just hired a content writer and he’s responsible for adding that yadda yadda yadda. It wasn’t me!

Ivo van BeekMemberYeah thats very true, I wonder how they dont have any solutions for wrong information going on air. I bet a few people got fired because of this happening.
This stuff always happens whenever a news station tries to be the first one to get the information out. They are so desperate to get it first that they don’t check how right the info is in the first place.
