Let me get ths right , Pokerstars The #1 poker room in the world , who has never screwed a singe person , always makes payments on time , is honest and reliable , gets suspended for failure to communicate
BUT
theres programs like europartners and gambling wages that are certified ? Yet They try to screw every person they can by not paying them . Spam the hell ut of everyone , Act like assholes towards customers and affiliates alike . and continue to be certified ?
Something is not right .
Happy Holidays All

December 15, 2007 at 9:20 pm #756584vladcizsolMemberGuys I was resting and watching a little television when Warren called me to let me know there was an issue.
Let me start by saying Poker Stars is a top notch program and one we value immensely, they have an excellent reputation with players and affiliates. They are exactly the type of program we want at CAP.
The problem that arose is an accounting issue thats been triggered by a management change at Poker Stars. They had not renewed their certification at CAP and our accounting and certification team have been trying to get this sorted out.
The previous manager of the program moved on and a replacement has not filled that position. Carly was unable to authorize renewal of the certification until the new management started. Thats perfectly understandable. What happend today was a little steam was let off because Warren has been trying to schedule a phone conference with Carly for several weeks and he got frustrated that the call hadnt taken place.
I am certain that once there is a new Affiliate Manager in place that we will get all this worked out and Poker Stars will be back on CAP.
I am sorry for the confusion. Poker Stars is a recommended poker room and we have nothing but respect for their team.
December 15, 2007 at 9:35 pm #756588AnonymousInactiveHmm, maybe I should start promoting them after all of this praise from everyone.
December 16, 2007 at 1:41 am #756598AnonymousInactiveFWIW Stars is CPA only for most. It’s funny Stars is suspended but Absolute Poker/Ultimate Bet are not.
December 16, 2007 at 1:27 pm #756612AnonymousInactiveWell, programs are supposed to be available to CAP if they are here, that’s the whole idea of problem resolution.
If they are just reorganizing their aff program and staff, they should be communicative and back in no time. Not the first time this has happened with a program.
The Professor posted that this does not reflect on their reputation, so it’s just a management matter and not any sinister stuff.
This has generated a few very positive posts about them, and will likely get more affs promoting them.

I beg to differ my friend….. but that is not true at all.
I signed up to promote them at the beginning …….. and i know to do my homework. I contacted them to confirm tracking codes etc…. and was confirmed.
I went to check about 2 months later ….. as that is the time it takes for me to really do anything with poker …. (much longer now ….almost non-existent for i have no decent program to promote except Rewards Affs and they use a software that is not very user-friendly of my experience) …. but i still love RA …
anyway …. they said they’d never heard of me. WTF? Pokerstars are not a place that has never screwed a single person ….. that i I know from personal experience and i place my repuatation on that fact!
December 17, 2007 at 10:58 pm #756761AnonymousInactiveas far as i see it, pokerstars just didn’t pay for their listing on CAP. at the end of the day, this isn’t a charity…
their suspension has nothing to do with their reputation or treatment of affiliates, they just simply didn’t pay to be listed…so that’s that.
December 17, 2007 at 11:39 pm #756766vladcizsolMemberThats correct. If you wanna dance you have to pay the piper.

Should have just put for non payment of fees then .
TO SOME PEOPLE WHO DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING COMMENT IT IS NOT ABOUT POKERSTARS GO BACK AND READ MY EARLIER POSTS IT IS ABOUT 2 OTHER PROGRAMS . No offence in my post ,business is business , at least we know why some programs are listed here , and how in the world they get certified , when they go around robbing everyone . THEY PAY!!
December 20, 2007 at 12:29 pm #757056GregMemberHi Guys,
I wanted to post an official response and reassure you how important it is for us to be part of CAP and how much we value the community.
Earlier this year, the Director of Affiliates left PokerStars and during this interim period the management has decided to not renew any promotional deals on behalf of the affiliate program, including CAP and others.
It has always been extremely important to me to communicate with affiliates through CAP, and I am so sorry if this was not seen to be the case. In the meanwhile, the guys at CAP have allowed me to remain active in the community so issues can be resolved quickly, although our forum and certification won’t be in effect until we pay our dues, just as every other program does. We understand CAP is not a charity and my goal is to support this community just as I did in previous roles.
I have been working with CAP for years, and I hope that I will be for a long time in the future. As always, you can email me, PM me, msn me, etc. I am always here for my affiliates/business partners, who are also my friends.
Carly
