InactiveI think we have all hit that point at one time or another… many of us in direct relation to US laws

All I can say is continue on and it will pay off. Sometimes it is rough – I know this for sure, but perserverance can certainly get you back on track. You have been around for quite some time and I think if you push through the rough times, you will not regret it.
It’s easier to push through than to start over some years later, that is for sure!
good luck!

biggygMemberWell one good thing about hitting bottom is there is nowhere to go but UP!I have been wealthy in this lifetime and also been bankrupt. If the finances are tough remember to count the blessings you have in family and friends and take things day by day.I cant tell you how many times I have felt hopeless or how many times I have prayed and made deals with the devil to pay the bills and feed my kids.
I am a bad saver so my wife makes me buy things when i get a big check and pay cash for the purchase, Her logic is if i ever screw up again she can sell the big LCD , the boat etc .She keeps a safe in the bedroom for her and the kids and the truth is we would always be broke if she didnt take that position with me.You can give me 100k cash today and within 2 weeks it will be gone.I will buy $40 socks ,$300 shirts ,it is like my brain will not let me keep money.I also use to drink so I was the guy at the bar who had lots of friends and pay the bar tab.
My daughter is going to collage in 3 years so now when i take 500.00 from bank machine I give my wife her 50% and my daughter her 20%.It is starting to make me sick because my 15 years old daughter has a box full of cash , my wife same thing.I have 8 pairs of shoes though! :hattip:
Anyway I am glad this is in the anything you want thread , I dont get to post here much because the girls do such a good job.Anyone ever need a chin up ,contact me becuase I am sure I have been deeper than most.Trick is dont lay i the hole and give up , crawl your way out even if it means eating dirt and picture those you love most at the top of that hole.
Kind Regards ,

GuestHi all
CBGuy – I thought you were a girl (please forgive) …. or perhaps they post too under same name?
anyway …… excellent perspective.
I’m much in the same shoes.
It is starting to make me sick because my 15 years old daughter has a box full of cash
ya I gave my son enough money to get a good start in college because I knew he had a better chance of saving it for such purpose than did I.
*back when I had money lol.
glad I did. I’m not so much a buyer of expensive things but I am too damn lazy about my approach to advertising … and keeping that money separate from money I should be saving. it all goes into the same account and sometimes i realize all of a sudden …. i’ve spent way more than I should have.
I’m 43. When will I grow up? *am hoping never ..

GuestOh! almost forgot.
some words of encouragement Dice.
ya we’ve all been broke …… Hell I am currently after paying taxes ….. or rather as soon as my CR payment comes in I’ll have enough.
hang in there bud. Health and freedom are above money. I know about the both since I’m lucky to have healthy kids (and myself .. so far anyway) … and have lost my freedom for getting caught growing a little pot.
I piss in a cup at the govt’s spur of the moment wish … kiss ass to probation officer and drug counselors. …. it sucks because i never even left my own property to get busted. Some threat to society huh?
anyway ……count your blessings not your bills and all will come apparent to you ….
Best Wishes (of course)

biggygMemberJust read John’s post and thought i should say that his wife pays the bills out of her half too.Really he is terrible with money , he is the only person i know who owns every version of Windows. He bought vista although it is still in the box unopened.I think Oprah had a show about him , he is only man i Know who loves to shop more than women. He has a bedroom in his house for his Suits! If he ever goes to one of these conventions you will see him and his wardrobe changes LOL.

biggygMemberSteve,I like you more since you shared the pot story LOL.I just paid my property tax bill today ,talk about depressing , $4800 and i had to pay them more money to get a few extra tags to put on the garbage. If we go over 3 bags we have to pay extra.I have a garborator ad recycle so rarely use 2 bags for a week but this week i had a bunch extra .

vladcizsolMemberDiceman all of us US affiliates have taken a financial ass whipping over the last few months, but I think we are going to see some improvement soon. The key is payment processing and those things take time to get set up and working, once we get a few more options clicking then times should get better.
In the mean time dont just wait around for things to brighten up on their own. Use this down time to build your sites, add content and diversify into other markets. I know thats hard to do when you feel down, but it does make me feel better and I believe it will pay off in the long run.

GuestThe key is payment processing
ain’t it the truth!
People have got to be paid in a timely fashion or we lose credibility which is the one thing that no amount of money thrown at it .. can resolve.
I think thats one mistake many programs are making is thinking that they’ll gain back their credibility in time… this will take much more money than it will to simply find a way to pay now.
CBGuy: thanks for the support! this next year won’t pass by quick enough and after that … it’ll all go by way to quickly at age 44 lol.

InactiveThe professor is right, this is the time to work on sites and spruce things up and diversify.
Pick something you can get excited about – something you always wished to had or did …. and make a site about it.
