no. css colors dont mean a thing to SE’s anyway. as long as the base text color is not the same as the backround or its all done in css it doesnt matter.

It won’t hurt from a SE point of view, so if it’s just for a backlink then it’s fine. But if you’re hoping for clickthroughs I’d question why they’re so reluctant to make the link obvious?

i think google frowns on hiddle text links , could be wrong but i recall doing one by mistake for big fish and he asked me to fix it .Of course i couldnt see it at first hahaha.

It’s NOT hidden (black on black) it’s just the same as the rest of the content, so visible but hard to distinguish as a link. Google will be fine with it.
