From your tone, it sounds as if you had no idea this was going to be in the magazine.
Are you saying that this magazine did not make any contact with you and as such did not have permission to use your materials/content?

I didn’t know. But – there is an old press release floating around in the search engines and probably still posted at prweb.
When you do a press release, the media is free to use it.
They certainly have my blessings.
