Speaking of disappearing people … what happened to Matt … aka Chips For Free?
It says below his name that he has been suspended … :confused:
What’s that all about … he seems like a nice enough guy.
Others here said he had done work for them and they were very satisfied.
I gave him a project over a month ago and still do not have a finished product.
Anyone else have this experience when he was doing stuff for you?
Maybe he’s just a real busy guy.
What kind of work does he do?

Several other people here have had a similar experience with Matt.
Actually, the reason Matt is suspended is because he has been collecting money from numerous people for work that was never done.
This came up a few months ago and he was admonished. It has gotten worse and he is now suspended. Hopefully he will finish up some of the projects he owes people. At least he cannot solicit here anymore.
As far as Dean from Adriches – he is not with Adriches anymore. You can go to their forum here and see what he said about it.
Matt does seem to be a very nice guy. He brings out the mother instinct in me.
But, he does owe people work for money already paid for, and owes other people he’s borrowed money from.
Thing is, whether or not he is like this on purpose – and I suspect that he is not – he has personal problems for sure, which keeps him from fulfilling his obligations.
He’s out of CAP because we don’t want to give him more opportunity to owe more than he already does, or take advantage of people on the forum.
I think he’s been given enough rope, and he’s hung himself. Lets hope he gets his shit together.
The whole thing makes me sad, because I do like him. I hope his expulsion from cap helps give him the wake up call he needs.
