Shaonian, I have removed your post in general discussion.

It is a duplicate of the one in the beginning of this thread, and we consider that spam here. Please stick with your one thread, and please wait until a rep from Brightshare can respond.

Dom and I both agree that any kind of CPA deal always leads to one side or the other losing.

Quality affs recognize the loss they stand to endure …. those that send less than quality players …… the aff program stands to lose.

since the aff program is in the position to NOT pay for players that don’t produce ….. I suggest strongly that any aff never go the CPA approach.

I hope I have saved someone from losing out in the long run.

*I have no interest in this current situation. I just wanted to perhaps save someone in the future from this very kind of frustration.

Normally I would never go into details of an affiliate’s private arrangements with BrightShare in a forum posting, but I feel that shaonian1980 has brought this issue to the public and I must repond with all the facts.

    To shaonian1980,

I have sat with our CPA Manager to look over your statistics so that I would personally understand the issue before writing you. This is what I saw:

    1. Duplicate names – several players registered at more than one of the JF casinos, so that the number of unique players you directed to the casinos is even less than it first appears to be.

    2. Some of the names are familiar to us as they themselves had previously contacted us requesting to close on CPA deals.

    3. While it is true that each one of your players made the required 2 purchases, they all did so in their first (and LAST) visit to the casino. In other words, they registered, made two minimal purchases and then left the casino – never to be seen or heard from again. Each and every player left a negative casino net revenue.

For all these reasons, it was decided to discontinue your campaign – it was simply not bringing real players to the casino. It was bringing people to make the required 2 purchases and leave.

An email was sent to you on June 25 explaining that your CPA campaign was being discontinued and asking you to stop sending players to our casinos. The email was not rejected or returned to us, so we must conclude that you received it.

Our CPA Manager and Shelley (info@brightshare.com) have both emailed you repeatedly. In addition, Shelley has been on msn with you both Thursday last week and today. We are not ignoring you.

I hope this more thoroughly explains what has happened here.

I think it became evident from the very first post that there was some sort of foul play going on here. On the part of the affiliate.

haha…well, that was kind of an expected outcome.

i guess one thing for any affiliate to know is that CPA is going to get someone burnt one way or another. CPA is a short term revenue plan, never a long term.

if you are prepared to bitch about a reputable program without doing the due diligence behind the curtains (i mean emailing back and forth) then prepared to be burnt most of the time.

in any case, i respect brightshare because they have been upfront with me, always responded to emails and even went out of their way to assist me. i also met lloyd over a couple of beers and had a good laugh. i’ld applaud any affiliate program with having such a ‘human’ affiliate manager.

in any case, shaolin has been striked out…

on another note, been promoting you guys decently for a while, but income is just stuck on a certain level. any idea what is going on to players?

i’m not looking for a generic response of advertising you in more places :D no offense, just need some analytics if possible…

Let me see what I can check out in terms of analyzing your results. Are you promoting us more on one site over another? I’ll take a look and we’ll be in email contact….

    Later,
    Marcia
