InactiveDon’t think so actually, after looking at more info.
I now have his phone number, mobile #, address
He has many, many alias he goes by, just read the threads about him.
“mcfnetwork” rings a bell, can’t place it though, its another one of his alias.

Inactive>> hacked in my affiliate accounts through a MSN chat some how??
not understand what you said
October 21, 2006 at 12:28 pm #712878
affiliategodMemberThey could have hacked in through a network connection (don’t think that is the 100% correct terminoligy but, the correct one is excaping me at the moment). In short, they could have, with the right knowledge, snuck in through the “back door” of a computer while connected to MSN with the other person. Not all that hard to do if you establish the right connection.
I personally do not know how to do it but, have seen it done. Luckily, when I saw it done, it was when someone who didn’t know anything about computers needed help and they were not at the same location.
**Edited to add: That is the main reason, I do not leave my messanger open. I always tell people to email me if they need to IM. If I am online, I turn the IM on, then.

vladcizsolMemberI lost two laptops through attacks which came in through MSN messenger. As a result I know longer use messenger, AIM or Yahoo Messenger. I believe the Captain and Dom lost PCs in a similar manner.

affiliategodMemberYea ya gotta watch out for those open ports. Your friends can get in …as well as anyone else who has the knowledge and wants in! I only turn my IM on when absolutely necessisary and only chat with a few people that I have known and trust for years. If anything is all that important, people can always email me or use the old fashioned concept….the telephone:rockband:

It was such a mess it wasn’t worth the trouble to rescue.

InactiveSo you are pretty sure Tobias Sidders is the malcious one? This person wacked into your MSN and somehow got into your affiliate accounts?
Must watch out for that MSN chat stuff. In all my years I maybe used it twice, unless you have a good config firewall don’t use it. The windows firewall is crap and has been since the beginning. If this person is a CAP member I would sure like to know who it maybe.

I’m sure that Greek39 could tell us all the exploits and hooles that they can use – but basically it seems to be that these messengers are effectively open pipes onto the internet – exposing any potential data …
… and that was described to me as being a bit like walking around the streets with your wallet hanging out of your pocket to the experienced hacker.

greek39Greek,
I’m nor “pretty sure” I am 100% SURE!!
The idiot changed ALL the info to his payment info in my accounts, he was caught because of a VERY stupid mistake, otherwise I would have found out in November when I didn’t receive my payment(s).
The guy is a pro, he’s a scammer and a scum bag, period!
It’s not over that’s for sure.
Another alias for anybody who uses namepros.com is “letmesell”

InactiveHe is an amateur otherwise you would not know his real time. A little hung over today but I did managed to take a glance. From what I quickly viewed was a person interested in egold, ebay, domain selling, paypal ect… This person has also been suspended from several places for pulling of scams. I ran one trace it lend me to Washington state. I also found this person on xttp://xww.zone-h.org/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/
Nothing really concrete I only spent an hour on it. But I have an interest in this person.
Speculation tells me he is a member here at CAP. I think you are on the right path go get the scumbag!
