I used to have a partner with my site and it got to be a little difficult at times. I felt like I was doing all the work and we were splitting everything 50/50. Then, he wanted to leave the site and things got a little tricky. I think the best thing to do if you are going to work with a partner is to lay everything on the table. Decide what is going to be done if one of you should leave. What kind of workload you will each be doing. Whose responsibilities are what. What will happen if both of you don’t follow through with your responsibilities. And of course, how you are going to split the profit. If you can hammer all these details out before hand I think you should not have any problems.

HI, In my opinion partnerships are difficult especially when one of the participants cannot be fully involved. My suggestion is to lease your site to someone who is willing to commit the necessary time for a low beginning rates with increases based on revenue an example take 0% -until revenues equal agreed-upon amounts. With increases to take place at agreed-upon revenues. That way the whoever steps in gets the advantage of an established web sites. And you get the advantage of increased revenues as it grows. Part of the deal could also include your involved in when you have the time and resources. Your input would help both sides and increased the value.

Sell it or hire out the work. A partnership is a bad gamble for both parties given this undeveloped site.

I suggest you consider hiring out the SEO and site development for a few months. Get it up to a PR5 or at least 200 unique visitors / day then look for a partner.

I agree. Been there, done that, bad news unles you actuallmake enough to make it worthwhile to form a legal incorporation and have well defined roles in the partnership.

You can hire people inexpensively at elance and places like it. Or sell most of it and keep a small percentage.
