This is why I am glad I fly with United as much as possible I am a silver member there and get extended leg rm, free 25nd bag(which I never use) and first pick on any standby flights and no lines..lol I am going to have to learn to pack light for the conferences now though for the places that United will not fly to such as Barcelona .
Just get used to higher prices and less service. The trend will be for much higher costs and less schedule flexibility. If you’re not coming and going to/from a major city you’ll be driving, staying in hotels and in general just experiencing higher costs across the board.
The only thing on the plus side is that people will eventually tend to stay closer to home and take advantage of home entertainment options including online gaming. They are already doing this and it will continue to steamroll.
