Actually it’s quick pick, you get two cards on the left side and two on the right, you get to hole ONE card out of the two on the right.
I was dealt jack/king of hearts on the left (those two are permanent and stay no matter what) so my choice was the 10 of hearts and some irrelavant card, which of course I’m shooting for the royal so I held the 10 of hearts.
I’ve been chasing that same royal for a while now. Glad to see someone from here pick it up though. Nice!
BlackjackInfo, if it wasn’t me, I would of wished it on you. Do you play at Global often? I love their vp, done really well there overall for 3 years or so. If RTG gets progressive vp I’m in deep shit! LOL

InactiveFor those unfamiliar with Quick Pick, Ellen beat some pretty long odds. The royal ‘cycle’ in Quick Pick is much longer than with other versions of video poker.
The odds of getting a royal flush on any particular hand at Quick Pick are one in 351,817. Compare that to most video poker at around 1 in 40,000.
It’s an interesting little game, and in land-based casinos, it often offers one of the best games available. Payout on a full-pay paytable returns 99.92% with perfect play. (That number is from memory, but I think it’s right.)
Yeah, I play at Global Player a fair amount. They’ve done a TREMENDOUS job lately in my area of expertise, blackjack tournaments. They’re offering the first-ever true multi-player elimination-style tournaments. They’ve been very receptive to recommendations, and my players have given them plenty of advice.
