I agree with that, but at the same time Ill take #15 as opposed to being +100 anyday … hope Google keeps shuffling.
Dom – you must be getting the traffic from somewhere – have you checked your server stats – maybe your bringing it in for some unknown kw phrase? Which I was that lucky … heh!

InactiveI would bet it goes again ….
I think they are playing with a back link algo on top of everything still though and the weight on it is definate a changing factor …
there are a number of other algos they could have added also …
You just do not know where yet also …December 9, 2003 at 1:59 pm #642497
vladcizsolMemberWell things certainly look much better then they did a week ago!

InactiveGood news for some of you – bad news for me.
Google appears to have reverted to its old results. At least that’s what I’m seeing – this must have happened within the past hour.

Inactive… or maybe not.
I checked all 10 datacenters and only one has changed… so perhaps it’s just the one which is serving the bulk of results at present.

InactiveYes – It seems I may have been a little premature … the DC’s are showing some interesting results …
Starting to think they just geared up for round 2 of screw affiliate sites
(Lets get all the sites we missed in round 1)As before – time will tell.

vladcizsolMemberGod I hope not. I was begining to think Christmas wasnt going to be ruined. I hope this is NOT another screw job gearing up. That would be truly cruel to put us back up for a day or two then trash us again. What a heartless thing to do during the holiday season….

InactiveYes – I concur …
I understand they have an immense ego, but I think the ramifications of hitting us again would do some serious damage. Surely they wont let their obsession of self-image destroy the reputability they’ve worked so hard to gain over the last several years.
They unquestionably realize Yahoo is working on something as is MS … Can greed and an ego get in the way of past success? Speaking from experience – Yes – heh!

InactiveBack to the way it was yesterday… clearly just an issue of Google relying on a datacenter with the old results temporarily.
As of right now the results are back the way they were – and of 10 datacenters only one shows the pre-Florida results (or maybe the post-Florida coverup results). The other 9 show the results after Florida.

InactiveNuts!
I am not going to be driven crazy by Google.
I am going to quit checking. It is getting to be a compulsion, and google is definitely not finished toying with our livelihoods.

Yip! Sure can!
