InactiveWow, I’m seeing losses in PR across the board. I hope this isn’t over. Thanks for the heads up, I totally missed it.

YoungT.jrMemberThe only main thing I did over the past few months is build on links, many say it does not work but……If this was the only major work I did then why else would I increase rank not on one but all my home pages, a few inners got a bit of rank and they are also linked to.

InactiveI went from PR3 to PR-ZERO!!!

PaolinoMemberHas anyone checked their internal pages and seen anything strange?
When I did the search for internal page ranks, it came up with three pages with a pagerank of 3 (shown below). The first is my homepage, but the weird thing is, I don’t know what the second two are (the ones with D=D and N=A in the url)
xxx.penny-slot-machines.com/
xxx.penny-slot-machines.com/?D=D
xxx.penny-slot-machines.com/?N=ADoes anybody have a clue what those last two ‘pages’ could be?
I didn’t create any pages with those names and they don’t appear when I look at the list uploaded through FTP
Confused

biggygMemberSome of my inside pages have higher pr than the homepage on 3 sites .There is no high backlinks to these pages so i cant explain how it can happen.

InactiveMy 3 weeks old blog gained PR2 without any linking to it, I use it only to juice some linky-love to main sites… LOL, strange

NiweXadiwMemberI’ve come straight in at 3 a few weeks after setting my site up – hope I’m not responsible for knocking any of you guys down in the process! :hattip:
Since I’ve had the rating the number of visits my site has received has plummeted. Is there a reason why this might be?

I’m a complete amateur at this. I set up the parent site and created a family of blogs to feed into it – too many blogs to be able to upkeep if I am honest. The objective now is to reduce the links and increase the text content, where time permits. Any advice from you or anyone here would be warmly welcomed.

nicknameMemberGod i H8 PR content is king and it’s visitors that count right?. for those wondering about there pr going down, i would not worry to much the last couple of google updates have sent my main site plummeting in pr across all pages, then a couple of weeks later things settle down and it tends to bounce back better than ever, as for search engine position i can only say that mine have improved every time even though the pr has dropped each time, like i said it’s visitors that count people.

The only advantage I can see with PR is that others are more willing to exchange links to your site if you have a higher ranking. When I was unrated I was continually being given the brush off when I requested a link, now my Inbox is full of requests for reciprocals.

InactiveI’ll never get it either.
I have a new site that has NO linking setup to it. PR 3. All my other domains have gone down in PR. It’s fairly comical. And useless

YoungT.jrMemberAfter a week of PR2 my sites reverted back to the pre-update ranks. No clue either.
