New sites added in August still showing a “0” … if an update of PR has occurred – its ongoing.
Well I got that PR6 I was expecting. But for some reason it’s on an internal page and not the home page …
My latest site has a PR5 homepage too (from 0), the links pages are all automated and each have a 3 (some of the pages have no links yet so a link on that page is worth more than a PR5 page with 100+ links on it).
I’m working on quality and unique content for the latest and greatest site as we speak.
Well, I finally got my PR5 back at www-casinogeek.net. I was waiting for the big “6” to come, when my index page went to zero for a while – I realized recently that all my internal links, which are hard-coded, were to http://casingeek.net/blahblahwhatever.html, and didn’t have the “www”, as most of my incoming links do.
Fun job, fixing that on every page on the site. Worth the effort, though.
I’ve stayed the same, PR5 on 2 sites and a PR4 on the other 2.
My new site started in August has picked up a 2 with only 3 or 4 backlinks. All in all I’m happy enough.
I’m not really a PR watcher but I must admit, seeing at least some PR on new pages gives me the feel good factor.

Some of my newer sites changed from 0 to 2.
One actually from 3 to 0.I do not know about google.
Personally I prefer yahoo.

I think all the datacenters have updated, so yes it is “done”.
Just pagerank, backlinks didn’t update.
Do you think backlinks are next?
If backlinks are updated will Page Rank be readjusted to reflect the increase/decrease of back links?
In the above scenario would PR update again now after backlinks or would we see PR remian same until next quarterly update?
why do you say quaterly update?
Is PR updated only every 3 months?

/Jback links are usually updated half way through the month. So anytime between the 10th and 20th is a good guess.
I doubt PR will update twice in two weeks, but that’s just my opinion.

It is believed PR is now updated quarterly instead of monthly. This was suggested by “GoogleGuy”. He’s sort of a spokesperson on behalf of google. Sort of. As far as I know it was meant to be said in a joking manner but was taken seriously. To know if it’s true or not we’ll just have to wait until the next update. If anyone has the URL for that thread i’d appreciate it.Now…. This should go in the other forum but i’ll ask anyway. Does anyone with any PR6 pages want to do a link exchange?
Mine dropped from 5 to 4 (same on links page if anyone’s interested), but my wine site went from 0 to 5!
