    How did you get it?

I tried and it seemed like its in Beta and I have to wait for an invite.

I signed up for it a week ago and nothing.

I like it, but I don’t think I am using it as effectively as I could. I think there is more info hidden that I haven’t found yet. I would like to see more than just the top 5 search terms that led someone to my site. I would also like to see more than 5 referring sites. It would also be cool if you could track individual visitors, like what pages did they visit, and did they click on a link or not.

I believe it took 3 months for them to sign me up. There is a HUGE backlog of people waiting to get in.

Why does everything Google starts up take forever? Its like they’re in such a hurry its sort of half-assed.

A friend of mine signed up, waited a week, emailed them, asked where he was on the waiting list, and got a responce that said, they don’t know. The next day he got his invite.

I signed up after that, waited a few weeks, did the same, emailed them, got the have patience responce, and the invite the next day.

I must admit that I signed up, waited a few weeks, got impatient, eventually forgot about it, and then one day, 3 months later it came through!

It’s definitely worth signing up for. There are products out there that you can buy that provide the same sort of info should it be something that interests you.

I agree that it is slightly limited in certain areas, i.e. it only shows the top 5 search phrases used to find your site. However, the ‘site overlay’ function looks pretty cool. It shows an image of your site and the popularity of the links on the page. You can easily see graphically whats working and whats not.

Do put your name down but be prepared to wait a while…

There’s not a limit of 5 keyword phrases in Analytics.
Go to Marketing / Keyword Considerations, and choose up to 500 in the pull down list.

I found that screen but don’t find any pulldown menu, and under keywords, and keyword considerations it is blank. I hit show all but get nothing.

Maybe it hasn’t accumulated enough data yet? Here’s part of my screen…
It’s under Marketing Optimization / Search Engine Marketing / Keyword Considerations:
