Professor the reason is because in many markets lotteries
generate the most revenues for a government.
Unfortunately they dont for affiliates. I suspect because the majority of lotteries are state run then there isnt a lot of commissions being offered.
I used to promote the UK national lottery via Commission Junction , but they dropped the program some time ago. I also tried the lottery tickets marketed by Fortune Affiliates, other then those two I havent had any exposure to lotto sales.

or not there is or will be opportunity for affiliates is another story … while the commissions are small many lotto players play and pray weekly.
:rolleyes:I have had a lotto page for years. Currently I run shareasale world wide government lotteries.
They don’t pay well. I only do it to let people who use my bingo take care of their lotto while there. For stickyness.
The only way I know to make money with lotto on the web is to get a free lotto and sell ads and visitors. Some of those make very good money.
