Top performers for me this month… just in case anyone cares.
Referback – ok conversions but excellent retention and player value.
Casino Paycheck – excellent conversions and player value
Wager Share – ok conversions but the player value has been absolutely phenomenal.
Video Poker Classic – a consistent performer with nice weekly checks!
William Hill Casino – I only use it on the UK sites but they have been doing great ever since I put them on the sites.
February 23, 2003 at 4:46 pm #638559AnonymousInactiveWell of the ones (your name is now too long to write) promotes, I only promote VPC which I also agree with is a good program. It took me some time to catch anything there, but it stayed around for a little while. Then mysteriously I got a webmaster under me. (gpwa?) … they have been doing consistantly good and although my player seems to have dried up, I too have been getting weekly checks (just from second tier)… 30 bucks a week or so…
….
Other than that
Tropez has been good to me. After 3 months of good earning, making me feel like I wasn’t crazy anymore, I asked for a commission increase. And although it was denied, Laurent did give me something (I don’t want to spill the beans on that, though..).
doing some ratty shit with other programs that adds up, but nothing major.
I found it odd that Fortune sends out checks Federal Express.

February 23, 2003 at 4:55 pm #638560AnonymousInactiveI’m doing well with Wager Junction as always, Slotland, Rich Webmaster, and Wager Share didn’t get much exposure but performed anyway.
It is a nice month for me so far!
February 23, 2003 at 6:54 pm #638565AnonymousInactiveIts not a bad month for me this month.
Way in the lead is income access, followed by referback, casino tropez and not much else.February 23, 2003 at 11:59 pm #638574AnonymousInactiveBest Casinos this Month
Inter Casino – best casino every month
William Hill Casino – 2. best every month by fare
Wagershare – 100% increase in profit this month – nice
Casino.net – boss media- I have a special % dealNewcommers:

February 24, 2003 at 12:26 pm #638582vladcizsolMemberEveryone seems to be having a solid month for me with the curious exception of Golden Star Network and Casino Profitshare.
Casino Paycheck is really doing nicely in Player value.
Crown Vegas is a surprise this month and showing promise. Good Download to Player Ration. Good Player Value. Now we just have to get deposit to Player ratio up.
Captain Cooks – Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes Cooks is profitable this month. Hope this continues as sudden wins often strike near the end of month…
February 25, 2003 at 12:41 am #638598AnonymousInactiveFor me Wager Junction signs up few players but the players all seem to be small whales.
Captain Cook’s is doing well for me this month.
Referback and Casino Coins are also doing good, with Casino Coins having the superior conversion rate.
Paymaster Casinos (also known as Spiral) have been dissapointing for a while now, i dont sign up many players for the amount of exposure and the ones i do all seem to spend $20 or $30. Casino Paycheck also refuses to work for me.
Casino Kingdom has been in the hole all month, and this is with amazing exposure.
Slot Land’s commissions have been gradually going down over the past several months.

February 26, 2003 at 1:51 am #638621AnonymousInactiveHas anyone ever used casino affiliate network? I pretty much live off this program for 3 years now.
February 26, 2003 at 2:52 am #638622AnonymousInactiveAntoine – that’s exactly what wager junction does for me. Few real players, but small to large whales. And they keep on playing for months.
Slotland for me has been steadily going up for me culminating in a whale this month.
I never make any money at referback. Well, this month I made 6 bucks so far, despite pulling the links. Must have missed something…
February 26, 2003 at 9:41 am #638623AnonymousInactiveHi all
I was wondering when people are saying good conversion / excelent convertion etc. what does that mean number wise in regards to views, hits or download, fun players, real money players and depositors?
I wonder also what do you consider as a whale / small whale?
Thanks !!!!

February 26, 2003 at 12:32 pm #638625AnonymousInactiveHi ,
Captain Cooks is the best for me this month.
Referback shows nothing as usually. Some downloads, some guests and nothing more. Don’t know how are you, but I’m some tired from there problems with the stats. I promised to take it of my sites, but still didn’t do that. Decided to give them another chanse

Hi Janet each webmaster has their own formula of choice but I look at ratios in the following order:
Hit / Download – Wide Varriances here among casinos. Lows are below 1% to the high end which can average up to 20%.
Download / Player – Again wide variances. If there are few players for a large number of downloads then it could be an indicator that players are having difficulty doing a complete download and install.
Hit / Real Depositor – Ahhh now we are getting to the biggies. This number is what people tend to throw around when considering how successfuly casinos “convert”. On the low side we see certain casinos that average 1000 hits or more to convert a single depositing player. At that level we all tend to agree that sponsor has “Low Conversion Rates”. On the high end I have seen up to 19% at my “High Conversion Rate” casinos. The quality of your traffic will greatly impact this metric, so take that into consideration. Most newbies make the same mistake. They assume Traffic/Hits/Clicks are the name of the game, they run out and buy cheap traffic/hits (No More Hits, Lotto or Exit Traffic, Cheap PPCs) and then complain when there are no player sign ups. Real traffic costs Real money and if your site is properly designed it should generate Real Players. There are no short cuts here.
There are other metrics that webmasters use, but I consider the ones above to provide a good indicator of casino performance.
Personally I dont track “fun players” as I think this tends to muddy the waters when deciding on which casinos to work with. Fun or Free Players do not generate revenues so looking at them only provides false data in my oppinion.
I wonder also what do you consider as a whale / small whale?
Again purely subjective. One woman’s whale is another woman’s minnow. I tend to place players in the whale category when they have generated $2,000 or more in commission (not play through, commission). At a good casino the “average” player should be worth approximately $200 in commission. If they produce $600 or more they are Mini – Whales.
I have whales that regularly wager $40 – $60 thousand per month (deposits). Unfortunately at that level they are profesional players and they can reek havoc when winning. IE this month at Tradal one of my whales withdrew $180,000 in winnings. Needless to say I wont be getting a wire transfer from Casino On Net anytime soon.
Hope this helps

February 26, 2003 at 2:11 pm #638631AnonymousInactiveHi Prof.
Tracking downloads may be an indication of future income?
I guess that even if the player did not deposit money , now the casino has it’s email and he will keep on send promotions to the player which at the end may deposit.
does this make sense to you ? or if a player which downloaded and did not play (not even as fun player) for a week after the download is a lost one ?Janet

BTW, I would love to see the results of the pool that was ONCE posted on the prev. version of this forum about the best converting online casinos, is it still availble somewhere? can you post the results to registered members?
I would also say that (since I am doing also non-english sites) that such result table would have been great if it were per lang.

February 26, 2003 at 2:27 pm #638632vladcizsolMemberTracking downloads may be an indication of future income?
In my oppinion and with three years of watching this I would have to say no. Gambling is an impulse buy. Most people will not download in February then wait till June to convert to a real player. They see a banner or text message and decide “Hey, that sounds good. I think I will play there” and they do.
It’s emotionally comforting to look at a large number of downloads and hope that these “players” will come back to roost someday, but I have not found this to be the case.
Of course there will be one or two people who convert from Registered Players to Real depositors after testing the waters and doing some free play. But to be totally honest this too is a relatively small percentage of your over real depositing players.
Think about land based casinos. The download without play scenario would be like a person plopping down in front of a slot machine and staring at it for 20 minutes without dropping a coin. They then get up and wander off to the buffet before going to sleep for the evening. How likely is it they will come back and start playing $5 slots at that machine? Its impluse that generates play.
Impulse is one of the reasons we have seen a huge drop in affiliate revenues over the last year. When players can not immediately deposit and begin playing then the impluse passes and they move on to other things. The payment processing problems remove most of our impulse, play now not later, players.
Excellent question though Janet.
