InactiveTypical of Golden Palace from my experience. I requested a cashout two weeks ago, found out I had to send the BS info and sent it last Monday and just got the email stating it had cleared about an hour ago. Money still not in Neteller. I was told that could take another 48 hours. I am going to take them off my site.

InactiveI think this is more like a Playtech casinos issue.

InactivePossibly,
Although I got my $$$ back from Acropolis (Playtech) within 48 hours. Maybe it depends on the week.

…. you know i just gotta say this is a little …. unprofessional on GP’s part IMHO.
they can afford to purchase a potato chip shaped like the Virgin Mary at 5 figures, but they gotta make their winners wait until every single possible thing is checked (perhaps twice) before they can pay a cash-out that I figure is likely much less than the cost of that old stale chip.
this is the thinking of way too many OCs. that once they have the player signed up; that they can treat them however they want (basically) and if in their customer service-challenged bungling way, they happen to run that player off; well so what?
In GP’s case, – we can get more; we’re the most visible OC there is today.
what they fail to realize is that just like in this thread, word of mouth happens; and believe it or not: it is even better advertising that potato chips shaped like Elvis.
This one thread alone has been cause for multiple people stating they were taking GPs links down. myself included. They’ve been working their way off my sites for some time now, this is just an incentive to get it done sooner.
last thing I want is a player waiting 2 weeks to get paid. oops, ok, 10 days. …. Might as well be 2 weeks.
I think that some of that potato chip money would be better spent on such basics as extra accountants to make sure players are paid in fast fashion.
But then I’m not a marketing genius like their people.
But I know one thing, you can advertise the moon for a song but if people then find out there is a fly in the ointment before they get what was promised; they are going to talk just like has been done here, and a lot of weight is carried in those conversations.

InactiveExcellent comment!
Yes, My paltry $100 ($50 of which was my deposit prior to winning a small amount at the BJ table) is nothing compared to the thousands spent buying chips and sandwiches. I guess, though, I am less important than new clientele. That IS unfortunate, but this is exactly why I am playing each OC that I am considering promoting…. So that when I talk about what is good about them, I know what reality is. And when I, unfortunately, have to talk about the bad…. I want to be 110% accurate.
$$$ is king. If they don’t pay quickly, then many people will be dissatisfied. Gaining NEW customers will NEVER beat out retention – Especially when you have to buy baby names, chips, and sandwiches for $20k a pop. That is expensive advertising if retention is low due to cash out issues.
Hope they learn that this is just not the way to keep customers.

InactiveWell I think Acropolis and 2 or 3 more are exceptions on the Playtech arena.
From what I eard from players around, playtech casinos usually take too long to pay.

InactiveDo they take long to pay every time… Or do they just take a long time on the first withdrawal?
I still think it is bad policy to make someone wait 10 days, NO MATTER WHAT… Because you will lose players.
I would still like to know if the second transaction goes more smoothly, though.
thanks!

InactiveSounds like another good reason to cross Golden Palace off your christmas card list.

InactiveThe worst experience I’ve had was waiting 6 weeks to get my winnings from Grand Banks. I dropped Rich Webmaster quick because of that.

InactiveMaybe GP delays payouts so players are more likely to get tired of waiting and play more?
June 12, 2005 at 1:30 pm #667050Anonymous
InactiveI thought of that, but then I noticed that the funds are not in my account at the casino either… And they are not being shown in pending withdrawals, so I could not put the funds back in if I wanted to.

Are you all up for the dumbest c**ts of the year award or what?

GP has put all available funds into the nearest child welfare agencies they can lay their hands on.
