InactiveHave a safe trip everyone!
Remember to stop by registration in the lobby at The Palms and The National (if you are a registered guest at the hotel) to pick up your badges, V.I.P bracelets and conference bags – plus CAP has a very special and unique gift for all affiliates. Registration is on 5/20 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and 5/21 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. I’ll also have a table during meeting day on 5/22 if you miss those times.
See you all there! :drunk2:

Inactivealright.
after another stupid set of flights – I am NOW IN THE PALMS HOTEL!
I am overlooking the ocean and it is nice to finally be here and kick back.
As there was a small mess up, I have been moved to a suite (for tonight) and if anyone is in Miami now, it’s room 828 (for drinks or dinner or cigars or just whatever)
Cheers all
looking forward to seeing the rest of you show up tomorrow.

InactiveI love it here just like I knew I would.
The Hotel is quaint and pleasant, I especially like the outdoors with palms of course (the Palms Hotel) and small hutches with palm frond roofs by the pools.
GamesandCasino folks had a long planned dinner at the Deux Fontaines, while another group went to the Prima Pasta. Both restaurants are excellent and always a good bet in South Beach. Haven’t heard from the Prima Pasta folks yet (I bet it was super, best martinis in town) but we had a surprise at the Deux Fontaines. Portions were absolutely HUGE, the place had changed ownership and the food was a dream. Italian seafood at its best – I have always liked the Deux Fontaines but now it is just unbelievable.
Hopefully I’ll get in a good night’s sleep.
Those of you who didn’t make it to Miami – you just got to come next year.
Those of you who did – give the Deux Fontaines a try if you get a chance to dine out. You won’t regret it (although your pocket book might).
