InactiveI got a pair of silk boxer shorts once from a player, they were white with a chilli on them with the phrase…HOT PANTS!
Was not amused as the player was called Dave!
I have received nice gifts such as some nice Australian wine in a gift box (thanks again Mobilica!) and My Little Pony which my daughter loves (thnaks JohnD!).
I remember this time last year a previous employer gave me an ultimatum, move to Spain or lose your job…does that count? :roflmao:
But I think that is pretty much it in terms of presents.

HAHAHAHAHH Only you would receive boxer shorts from a bloke..
I think the ultimatum falls into the “COAL” category.. not the gift one

GuestHi all,
a shiny red brand new XR-75 Honda dirt bike when I was 13.
man I raised hell on that thing.
Grandpa gave it to me and they weren’t rich people. I took care of him all thru his old age and cared for him his last months at home instead of hospital.
so next time you consider buying your kid or grandkid a shiny new motor bike … know it DOES pay off!
warning to USA and maybe elsewhere, if you’ve seen the ads for ShamWow … they are not all they appear to be and frankly i felt I got ripped off. I bought a bunch of them for gifts thinking they’d be neat and affordable. now I have a pile of them and I’m not so sure i feel comfortable giving them as gifts.
I could send them back but if you’ve ever been thru something like that … you probably know its cheaper to throw away the crappy product instead of wasting time trying to get your money back.
