    Hi Everyone, :wavey:

I thank you so much for your feedback regarding our affiliate Software and tracking concerns,
We have for the past couple months, and still are going through agressive testing and upgrades in order to find completely satisfactory results where we are totally confident that these issues have been ironed out.
The IA staff and their support to WP and APN, has been astounding, and we are all working round the clock to sort out these discrepencies.

Thanks again for your concerns, they have been noted and we will keep you informed periodically as to the progress of our testing…
We are very confident that there is a bright future ahead of us.
Keep your eyes peeled for updates.

Hopefully very soon we will all be able to put on our happy faces and move forward in total confidence :roflmao:

    Yours Sincerely
Kate and the WP & APN Team

I like testing, BB1’s idea is good and giving money to players to sign up and play and submit info back is also good.

After discussing with our team we agreed that this idea is very nice indeed.

We will be running something for our players and affiliates in this direction. Any suggestions Dominique?

    Regards,

    Diego.

I met with the CEO of Income Access yesterday, and I would like to take this opportunity to clarify some things. When I originally posted this thread, it was not to bring up issues with Income Access, as I have had none with them. I was merely explaining why a couple of my events had to be cancelled.

For those of you that have had issues with tracking, you need to understand how IA works at a basic level, otherwise it is very easy to blame IA for issues that are not really their fault.

Income Access is able to track clicks on banners that they host. At that point, the MERCHANT that you are promoting has the ball in their court. All registrations, deposits, etc. are tracked by the merchant, NOT Income Access. The merchant must send in accurate data, which IA then puts into the system. When you look at your statistical reporting, the accuracy of that reporting is totally dependent on the quality and accuracy of the reporting that the merchant has given IA.

I have personally had great experiences with IA while promoting AP, Vegas Poker 247, and several other poker sites that use IA. In this particular case of mine, it is my opinion that my data was not tracked correctly by Wager Profits, and in turn, there was never any correct statistical information for IA to mirror.

For any of you that have issues with proper tracking for merchants that are using IA, I highly recommend that you go back to the merchant to start the resolution process. Most likely the issue is on their end with regards to the reporting they send Income Access.

well I see it as hiring a service that outsources work for me, I don’t directly contact the outsourced parties when they screw up, I got to who I hired to manage the job.. Much like I go to the affiliate that hosts the casinos. If they host casinos that are not giving correct stats and take no action I want no part with any service they offer period.

And I say that if it is so damn difficult for ‘end users’ to be able to track with IA’s software – why the hell use it?

I don’t believe for one second that it is all the fault of the end user, but that’s only because it seems everyone using it has issues. Maybe all the integration teams just don’t know how to use IA’s advanced system… please.

I don’t remember off hand who this was, but I remember one program some time ago talking with me. They joined IA and they had a lot of trouble making their stats so they would be easily picked up by the IA system. They were in a totally different format or something and it took some time to tweak them to be properly read by the IA system.

So I am no tech, but with some places there seems to be more of a compatibility issue than others.

I have known the IA folks for years and am positive that there is nothing sinister going on. I am also sure that for instance Intertops has nothing sinister going on, either.

Sounds to me like workable issues synchronizing different tracking systems.

    Just my two cents.

    Good points…

As a very technical person, and one who designs systems for end users…. I have ALWAYS made it my priority to ensure that my end users are both using the product correctly and are satisfied with it’s capability.

I am not saying IA is to blame here, but if several program’s stats have gone to hell after using IA’s system – then it is IA’s responsability to ensure that the technical implementers are able to construct a working system.

It’s just frustrating to me… and I don’t see why ANYONE should promote an IA-enabled stats until someone proves that they actually work (instead of what we see now, which is a bunch of people stating otherwise).

Seems a bit backwards to me.

You have the opposite with Vegas Affiliates – their stats worked fine with IA, then they created their own thing and it was a disaster.

They went back to IA and everything works fine.

That’s what makes me think it’s compatibility issues with some stats systems.

That’s a very good point… Then IA needs to make sure their end users are implementing the software correctly – otherwise it makes them look like they have a faulty system.

I think programs go live to soon with new systems.

Lately we had the issue with Vegas Affiliates, who ended up going back to IA. Then you have the issue with Referspot, who is sticking with their new version even though it’s obviously flawed. Intertops played it smart, they left the old and new open so people can go back to the old in case the new doesn’t work.

But basically I think people are jumping the gun and opening new systems before they are absolutely sure nothing is out of whack.

Of course I do recognize that sudden full use of a system may not quite turn out as well as contolled trial runs.. bugs happen.
