Even worse, when you tell them no thanks. And another rep from there bugs you tomorrow. And the next day it’s ANOTHER rep.
They know what they’re doing FictionNet – it’s not accidental. You politely said no thanks – which in sales lead speak means that you’re not dismissing them outright.
Learn to be rude … I TOLD YOU – NO – NOW DUCK OFF !!!
You won’t get a call back.

What I don’t like is the emotional blackmail like when they’ve taken you out at a conference or something and they say ‘but we were so close, don’t you remember when I did X for you and went out of my way to do Y, did that mean nothing?’.
You are right – it’s an attempt to use a personal leverage – but as you say it jars because they’re really only looking out for one side of the partnership – them.
Again – the answer is simple.
Tell them that this is business – and the bottom line is that are not performing well enough for your site. I TOLD YOU – NO – NOW DUCK OFF !!!

StarBucksSportsMemberI try to never call unless I have something good to offer an affiliate, such as a flat fee to increase exposure, or an exclusive bonus to offer to their players.
I can understand the frustration that affiliates have with regards to calls, but being on the on the other side of the planet (the good side
), it’s sometimes (and with sometimes, I mean always) quicker to pick up the phone and get in touch with someone. We do have targets, and even targets of number of calls made in a week, but I have also come to learn that no means NO.
No amount of nagging is going to “build a relationship”.

GuestHi all,
ever notice its usually a program nobody wants anything to do with that is the one that nags?
if some of these programs put as much effort into integrity as they did nagging and spinning they wouldn’t need to bother anybody. they could actually afford to not seek new partners because they new partners would seek them.

InactiveThis does not bother me if I don’t want to work with the program I just delete the mail and go on about my day. I like getting mails because there are times when managers are informing me of a promo or new game etc and that will prompt me to update the sites.
What bothers me is the lack of getting mails from managers when there are things to update or promote.
In these times everyone has to market so the mails don’t bother me unless they are 6 a day coming from the same program

CASINO JET7MemberI get lots of emails from LuckyAce all to different email addresses. “Ping”, oops there´s another one, “Ping” “Ping” “Ping” “Delete” “Delete” “Delete”.
I know competition is fierce, but there are good ways and bad ways of prospecting. Quality is definitely better than quantity on this one “Ping” “Ping”, fek

InactiveDon’t mind the emails asking if there is any way to promote them etc. If I do not answer, then I feel that it is not unacceptable for them to resend the email asking if I received the last one.. Not answering is not a “No” imo. How else would a program try and solicit?
It gets annoying when you do answer and give them a reason as to why you do not want to.. even if the answer is simply.. “Do not feel like it” .. they do not accept that and keep hounding you… then the annoying phone call.
