vladcizsolMemberI really wish you would have seen New Orleans last year. It fit all the criteria you mentioned. :unhappy:
In the tropical vein I recommend Clearwater Beach in Florida, excellent beaches, good food, not over priced, great weather.
Out west I would suggest Scottsdale AZ. Its one of my favorite places in the winter. Beautiful Southwestern resorts, awesome food, great shopping and no rain. Not cheap, but not overly pricey either. You can spend as little or as much as you like.

InactiveYes, I could kick myself over New Orleans. I shoulda, coulda gone after Miami… so close and a conference, too!
Arizona sounds delicious, Mexico beaches and Costa Rica resorts have been suggested too.
Clearwater I need to look at, never heard of it before.
I liked the resort Focal Click took us to in Costa Rica a while ago, but forgot the name of it.
It’s fun planning this – I can just feel the sunshine and taste the drink with the little umbrella…

Of course you are, Randy! Every 3000 hours you put into the improvement of Games and Casino I will take you on a trip. Looking forward to having you on board.

vladcizsolMemberWe love Celebrity cruise lines and a close second is now Carnival. Watch out for Princess cruises as the food is not up to same standards as Celebrity or Carnival and since eating is an integral part of cruising I cant recommend Princess.
Royal Caribbean used to be good but they have dropped in quality over the last few years so while I wouldnt necessarily avoid them I cant recommend them either.
I havent cruised with NCL so I dont know about them.
Holland America has great food and superior service, but they target an elderly audience and the music, shows and tour excursions reflect that. Good news is you can outrun the people on walkers at the buffet line :1circling
