what do you define as “most affiliates”?
i can’t speak for most..but i am a full time affiliate, with part time drinking skills, part time partying, full time travelling and full time masters of shcommerce course…hmm…it is supposed to add to 100% at some point of the equation (somehow) :cappy:
i guess my next venture is accounting! muhahaha…. :3eyes:
Also have a small staff so dont really have time (or any desire for that matter) for a regular job.
After 5 years in the business I think I will never really experience the corporate 9 to 5 world and to be honest, I doubt I will miss it :hattip:
Most affiliates start on a part time basis and make the transition to full time once their business is established and generating enough positive cash flow to allow the change.
I have been a full time affiliate since 1997 and I believe you will find all of our senior members to be full timers.
I am part time onlt because I fear too much for my wife and kids in this business, but its real damn hard to keep getting up to go to work each day anymore when the benfits seem almost pointless.
I just dump most of my day job earnuings into a 401K, pick up the medical insurance and visit cap maybee once or twice during the day
Started as a pure hobby site and stumbled into aff business that way. Been full time for years.
Full time- that has to be your objective if you enjoy this. But I would advise you to spread your risk and work in other markets and/across multiple countries if you rely 100% on affiliate revenue as the rules can change from day to day as we all know.
You don´t want to be left looking like a doe eyed labrador if you have been working 6 months on your Scandinavian Oriental Games portal and suddenly online mahjong is banned in Norway
