InactiveYep, saw it.
He is most certainly going to run for president.
The AARP (american association of retired people, huuuge membership and usually complacent) is calling for people not to vote this time because all the issues addressed are crap and none of the serious issues are being dealt with or even talked about.

InactiveFirst time I heard him talk. He has a really annoying, naggin, monotone voice. Apart from saying “don´t cut´n run” in every other sentence he seems to suggest some sort of coalition with the Taliban? His ideas are pretty excentric that´s for sure
I´m waiting for him to lobby vivisection.October 22, 2006 at 4:31 pm #712970Anonymous
InactiveAmazing how he cut-and-run from the Senate. Leaving the Senate 2 years before election time ? I really think he felt that a loss in the Senate Election this year (a distinct possibility) would have cost him dearly. This idiot couldn’t be elected dog catcher, and I’m just being objective here.

vladcizsolMemberUnfortunately, this monkey has been elected by the people of Tenessee (90% are probably kin folk). And somehow hes floated his way to the top of the Senate.
Never underestimate the stupidity of the American voter.

It was saying “don’t vote” until you understand where the candidates stand on important issues. I guess their ad wasn’t quite as clever as they imagined

You can read more about the candidates at the site included in the AARP’s ad, http://www.dontvote.com
The whole point of the ad was to get more info about the 2006 election before voting, not to discourage people from voting.

InactiveHaha, I must be too old to understand it!
I walked away with the message: “Don’t vote! The AARP.”
Then again, I work with my back to the TV. Maybe people actually watching get it.
