Yeah I’m having a bad day and this just made me even more angry.
Of course I have backbone! You have to when you live with the man I do. He is a shit stirrer. Always like to tease me until I snap (although he thinks he is playing). He loves seeing me fire up. I’d rather not fire up unless there is cause – kinda like the boy who cried wolf.PS I hate programming.
I watched that and thought to myself as buddy was screaming “I didn’t do anything”…hmm, maybe you’re getting a beating because u didn’t do anything
It actually made me laugh, i saw another version and the cop was taking such joy in tasering the kid, his face was all red and ragy and just loving it

hang tough girlfriend! and if it gets that bad .. you deserve better! so don’t let a relationship drag to that point ….just my opinion ……but i think you deserve treated right.
*btw : I don’t always make the right choices or moves either … so I figure …..because I love the woman I’m with .. I’m allowed a mistake or two.
we all make mistakes ….sometimes push things too far …… but I also know I support her and her 4 kids ….. and her taking care of her grandparents …… so … give him a break if he deserves it …… and if not …..break his ass …. cause I think you do deserve to be treated right …. all do!

Hey I think you took what I said out of context… What I meant was that he likes to push my buttons in a joking way. So when I said he likes to see me fired up – he likes to see me get angry and stand up for myself. Hence the backbone.
Whats sad is every one of the questions the student asked were valid.
Is there a video of Kerry’s response? It seemed like he was going to answer…
I’m a bit surprised that John Kerry (Mic in hand) didn’t try to say something to stop this… I know I would have if I were in his place. THAT is as ridiculous as the stun.
If it was a Republican speaking they probably would have shot the student rather then use a taser. :3eyes:

I saw one clip (or I heard on the radio) that talked about how Kerry apparently did answer the guy’s question, as he was being tased. I don’t know what he said, though.
This guy should sue the crap out of that police department. His first amendment rights were trampled, for no reason whatsoever.
Now the officers are on paid leave. Must be nice to be a cop — screw up royally and you can still collect a paycheck.
Two officers in my town were caught on tape beating an inmate in the jail bathroom. (It was an unprovoked beating). The officers were placed on paid leave — over a year ago — and just a few weeks ago the charges against them were dropped due to some sort of technicality. WTF? They abused this man for no reason, and as “punishment,” they got a one year paid vacation?? Outrageous.
They liked to play those games in Miami where I am from to. People got fed up with that and started riots everytime the Cops went over the line. You would be surprised how quickly that shit stopped.

I think what was even more disgusting was that noone helped the guy. They all stood around like sheep watching, probably thinking ‘someone should really help him’ and then did nothing.
Unfortunately this is usually the way it happens because people are scared that if they follow the minority (or in this case someone who speaks out for what they believe when noone else will) they will get punished for it.
I think that you’re forgetting that it was a Kerry crowd. Thus, why would someone from the crowd help him since he was from the other side? He got what he deserved
personally I took it as someone NOT from the other side …. just disappointed in that Kerry didn’t fight harder.
