*What’s the current situatian with the (ridicilous) law that obligates Italian ISP’s to block listed gaming sites? Does it still work? Are there casinos that obviate the block?

Italian ISP’s block is still on, not all casinos are blocked but lists are updated monthly; unluckly if u are not in Italy u are unaware of the block, cause the block affects only potential players with Italian IP Address: so u may promote a casino that is blocked without even noticing it; not a big deal for affiliates though, since the most dedicated Italian casinos have implemented redirect links for affiliates that automatically overcome the block…

For example this is how a Brightshare affiliate links looks:

Redirecting to it.allslots-casino-online.com

If this domain tomorrow is blocked, we, from our backend, will simply change the redirect (for example to it.allslots-casino-italiano.com)

*Would entering the Italian online casino market as an affiliate be a good idea at this time? Is the market still profitable enough or shouldn’t we bother the effort?

Yes to both; the market is one of the most profitable and growing in Europe, and we as Brightshare are really going for it with a dedicated team…off course we are not the only one, so I assume Italy is quite a good market
