InactiveThe reason i am asking is that my commission dropped by $10k and my percentage dropped by 5% . I asked for a reason for this and was told that it was due to a software bug – i wanted to find out if anyone else has had this issue
Fortune told you this? What was their explanation about this bug and how it effected your account?

InactiveThey told me that and they told me that as i was approaching my monthly average everything should be fine – i think not
I had around a $10k drop in commission and a 5% decrease in revshare
I have never heard of a software glitch that does something like this – have you ?

InactiveJust a thought, you don’t happen to be referring to this situation which I received this email about on April 10th, are you?
This situation caused my March earnings to drop nearly in half. Though I think the lower amount was actually correct.
On 1 April 2008, during the March Affiliate commission run, we identified a crucial process error regarding the monthly comp allocation. The issue arose when the commission process was run on the first day of the new month instead of on 31 March, resulting in all comp points being rolled over into April.
We are in the process of working with our Development team in order to extract the March comps from April’s stats and rerunning March commission calculations. This will result in a true reflection of Affiliate commissions for March and April.
For this reason, you will be paid your March commission on Monday 14 April 2008. Depending on your payment option, you will be paid in the following timeframe*:
Wire transfer – 3 working days
Check – dependant on standard mail (approximately 5 days) or courier (approximately 48 hours)
Neteller – same day transaction
Click2Pay – same day transaction
Eco card – same day transaction
UseMyWallet – same day transaction
Payspark – same day transaction
WebMoney – same day transaction* Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of third party processes, and therefore the above-mentioned transaction dates are only approximations. We cannot control the rate at which these parties process monies in and out of accounts.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this error. If you would like to talk with our team, please do not hesitate to contact your Affiliate Manager for more information.
Yours is probably something different.

Inactiveit seems as always that so long as you’re savvy enough and persistent – you’ll get it sorted. The change (see email post above) is a stinger though. Keep us updated – it seems there’s a few out there with the same issues.
