    There is a session here on Forex I will upload another one this week http://www.igbaffiliate.com/content/video – We also have a Forex focus in the next iGB Affiliate magazine – If you aren’t a subscriber its free, just click the mag link in the iGBAffiliate site

    From what I know (which is limited) is that it is competitive and conversions are small BUT the average depositor is big and there is lots of money to be made if you get the players – Also need to bare in mind these players are intelligent and of a higher callibre than an average gambler – They don’t consider it gambling and do a lot of research so I am guessing a website targetted at them needs to have lots of good content

    All this is guessing because as I say I have no direct history with Forex

    What is Forex?

    Forex = Foreign exchange (also used for gold, silver, oil and indices industry)

    Leveraged Trading = deposit $100, trade up to X400 so you can trade up to $40,000

    Example trading

    Oil price is $60.00, you buy with $60 (X50) 50 barrels of oil, if oil goes higher to $61 you made $50 if it went down to 59 you lost $50.

    Where is the money?
    Forex companies generate revenue from the SPREAD between the buy and sell prices of the asset:
    For example:
    USD/JPY buy price is 99.83 and sell price is 99.80
    The difference between the buy/sell price is 3 pips (range from 1-10)
    If you buy with $100 (X400) 40,000 USD/JPY
    You buy at the higher price of 99.83
    Your spread is 12$ (12% of the transaction)
    You sell at a price of 99.93 you profit 40$
    Revenue share is calculated from the spread (12$)
    Happy Trading and feel free to contact me anytime

    In my experience it’s very difficult to get conversions. I run a stock picks service and promote Forex to my subscribers without much success. I thought it would be the perfect compliment but no success so far. I wish I could promote online stock brokerages and get a cut of each trade commission like Forex. That would be huge!

    Conversions in the forex world are tough but once you do get a few depositors under you they will go too ways;

    1) deposit a bit, loose it in a few days and not redeposit
    2) become whales and earn you thousands of dollars per trader

    At bet365 we offer finanical spreadbetting as a new product and this basically is forex trading on its easiest form for the novice.

    Bet365 carries over negatives and they actually shut me down simply because I did not promote them via a “website”.

    Interesting post onto a forex thread but I will try my best to answer your q’s;

    You are correct to say bet365 does carryover negatives from month to month and has done from day one. This was a business decission made when they opened the program many years back and in my personal eyes a good one, nor has it ever had a ‘negative impact’ on most affiliates. bet365 takes sports bets and simply clearing the negative could not be wise for a sportsbook operator and can result in fraud and large losses for the operator. bet365 simply pays you 30% of what they players you refer generate in profit for the house.

    You mentioned they closed your account, can you PM me and explain. Yes every affiliate needs to explain within reason how they will send players as the company needs to make sure the brand reputation is not affected.
