This sounds very scaring.
:flush:Now imagine you’re the young man in your 20’s going off to war, leaving your wife and child behind, and you do your duty by killing your enemies, and return home safely.
Upon your arrival home, you are arrested and tried as a war criminal, and sentenced to life in prison, never to hold your wife or child again.
Don’t you think that would suck
This is exactly what happened to a family i know here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Canada is hardly setting an example the world should follow, they just handed out citizenships to all those refugees with Aids, yet in the above example they saw nothing wrong with breaking up a normal family who were living in Toronto and allowing a soldier to go to prison for life, despite several protests, albeit he wasn’t a soldier in the Canadian Military, but should that really matter, if you set rules in war, you can’t just pick and choose who you want them to apply to.
Canada is the biggest country in the world, they don’t need to act like a patsy for the USA, NATO, International War Crimes Tribunal, or anybody else, it’s sad that they do though, i’m glad to see the rest of the world is coming around at least and finally standing up to these bully world body organizations
The purpose of modern day wars, actually they have no purpose, unlike the old days where you just killed people you didn’t like, WTF is Canada’s purpose for donating bodies to the middle east, aside from succumbing to peer pressure, what will they gain, how will the country be better and safer, it makes no sense, if they really hated people from the middle east, then they wouldn’t have given millions and millions of them Canadian citizenship, and jeopardize the safety of their own people by harbouring what they now classify as terrorists, don’t you think
It’s all a big joke, they are just going off to slap out peasants and take whatever little they have, typical pirate games
And i am not Anti-War, i am Pro-War if it’s for the right reasons, but
Dropping a $50 million bomb to whack some hopeless camel jockey riding through the desert with a makeshift shotgun is not money well spent in my opinion, and unless you plan on entirely removing their seed from the earth, then your efforts are pointless, they will only come back bigger and stronger in the future, or haven’t they figured that out yet
So while that story is nice and touching, it is not reality, it’s just what people must believe in order to remain guilt free, people(normal people, civilians, with their god fearing righteous lifestyle)need to believe their cause is just, even if it isn’t, all you need to do is look back through history and you will find many peoples who were swindled by their government into supporting a false cause, this is not the first time it’s been tried, yet it still seems to work for some reason.
I don’t wanna get into politics, cuz someone will always disagree(thats why we have wars), but it would be interesting to know how many people who support the war in Afghanistan actually know any Afghani’s, i mean they are Shepherd’s for christ’s sake, seriously, at least back in the old days we knew our enemy and everyone knew why we were at war, but what is this now, 20 years ago the US was buddy buddy with Afghanistan, giving them guns to protect themselves, now they doctor up some war time propaganda and everyones like lets go whack their dumbasses, not that i care, or am trying to come across as some kind of humanitarian, i got enough problems of my own, well maybe i do care just a little bit

1) citizens of Canada were also killed in 9/11
2) who was the guy that tried to behead your Prime Minister

If my car was involved in a getaway in a crime committed against my business, and i was seen leaving the scene of the crime, then i collected a nice payout from the insurance company and profited greatly from the whole event, should i not be considered a prime suspect
I mean how would i prove my innocence, and who would believe i had no involvement, i profited the most, plus i had the inside info and access to the car, business, etc
You see what i’m getting at here
I’m referring to 9/11, where the buildings destroyed were Jewish owned, the airplanes involved were Jewish owned, Jews vacated the area just prior to the attacks, none were killed although 1000+ were supposed to be at work in the building, the owner of the buildings collects a huge insurance payout and cashes out a large profit, then throw in the fact that several Jews were under investigation for suspicious stock market trading just days prior to the attack, strange patterns were seen on trading involving companies like American Airlines, even on the Toronto Stock Exchange
So despite what people choose to believe, they are the prime suspects in my book, and since the government considers it acceptable behaviour to hold an entire ethnic community responsible for the attacks, and bomb innocent civilians of that land(people who have never been to America, and never had any desire to even go there in the future), then i can do the same, i can blame the whole event on one ethnic community, the Jews, and i did not just pick their name out of a hat, the evidence pointing towards them is overwhelming, and i can go on and on and explain this whole US-Israel relationship in detail, but i won’t
People automatically believed the government’s word, and instead of looking at the evidence and judging for themselves, they believed that some guy named Osama was responsible for this, even though he was thousands of miles away when this whole thing happened, and gained absolutely nothing from it, not to mention the fact that he said he had nothing to do with it, which is a very unterrorist like statement, terrorists typically lay claim to any attack which kills their enemies
As for the prime minister of Canada, well he is an American and not too many people like him, he is falling more and more out of favour with every passing minute, and as for the beheadings and things of that nature, you initiated a war, what did you expect
I’m not taking sides here, my country was at war with the middle east long before America, so i’m not at all pro middle east or anti west or whatever, i’m just pointing out some oddities and tactics that were used which i find underhanded and misleading
I mentioned in my other post about a soldier who went to war and killed muslims, now serving life in prison, how is that fair, the Americans are doing the exact same thing, this world is so damn screwed up that i choose to take nobody’s side, but instead just tell the truth by presenting the facts
I also don’t like how governments exploit strong young men by shipping them off to war to fight for an unjust cause, the soldiers aren’t properly debriefed and not smart enough, i know i wasn’t at that age, but i guess they have no choice but to deceive the young into going off to die for no good reason, who else is gonna do it, thats why so many soldiers develop post war trauma years after returning home, they smarten up and realize that what they thought was right at the time may not have actually been so right after all
It’s all very sad, and i know if i had been in charge the world would not be as it is today, with every half wit nation having nuclear bombs and an extremely overpopulated world begging for justification to use these bombs as a means of population clean up
Excuse me while i go back to plotting world domination and finally restoring some order, i still have some work to do, i can kick some peoples ass, but not everyones just yet, i’m not sure its possible to kick everyones ass, everyone who tried failed, but the true mark of a warrior is to keep trying
