InactiveNever had this problem. Always felt they are honest and retention is good. I can probably name other programs where I see the same as you are complaining about and you will say what I just said.
It’s a funny business this.

InactiveI’m just worried about Focal Click’s Caribbean Sun Poker rakeback issue…as some have pointed out, rakeback affiliates have been known to contact players in tables and tell them to discontinue their accounts and to start new ones with them. That really sucks for non rakeback affiliates to have their players disappear!

InactiveBB1, everytime you make a hate post against this program, a program you have not promoted in over 3 years but carried on a vendetta for, you lose some of my respect.
There are so many legitimate complaints, you must really hate them to keep on with this for over three years running.
The same thing you wrote about them is true about most every program I promote with the exception of a handful that do retain players for years.
Are they all crooked? Maybe, there is no way to tell. Then write about that. But your 3 year long crusade against Focal is unfounded and getting to be very annoying to me. Let it go already, grow with the times.
I agree with Kevin though – even though their poker seems to rock now, it is heavily supporting rake back and I hear of uncontrolled spamming in the rooms.

GuestDom, I call’em as I see ’em.
And frankly, I’m more concerned about saving others from a similar fate than I am about whether or not you respect me.
I apologize for nothing.
further more; any other program that does me that way can expect the same and I would sincerely hope that other members follow suit.
That’s what we’re here for; is to keep each other informed as to what to look out for, whether it be good or bad.
ps.
and its not like I just said; well its been 3 months, time to trash Focal.
I saw a change and I brought it to others attention.

InactiveI think the problem is more “Crypto” that Focal.
I have real difficulty making money from any Crypto program and having played at Cryptos regularly in the past i think its more to do with the software. IE: Its boring! It feels so “20th century” when MG seems faster, more glitzy and generally more fun. Posh London Gentlemans Club vs. Vegas Strip Razzle Dazzle! Grey Pinstriped Suit vs. Shades and Sneakers. Toyota Landcruiser vs. Aston Martin DB9. Snap vs Poker!
Once i discovered MG, i rarely went back to Crypto unless i has only a small wad and wanted a longer session with it. I could make $200 last an hour on Video Poker at Crypto whereas its 10-20 mins at MG. And i was often up a few $ after the hour – never a lot, but by that time i was bored so i’d cash out. Always ended up around even month on month whereas with MG the swings are way bigger.
Just my $0.02
