I’m not sure if I speak for the other groups who offer the free spins promotions, but they are only available on download with our group.

That would be an advantage of download, and disadvantage of flash.

    Cheers

Also, more and more people are using Firefox, and the MG Flash client is not compatible with Firefox.

With that said though, it is much quicker and easier than the download version.

Thanks for the answers so far.

So you as operators see the same value at the flash casinos as the download casinos?

I am afraid that players will play less and for a shorter time in Flash but I don’t know why I am afraid of that just a general concern.

MG have the option to choose some casinos don’t and it is those casinos I am considering to promote if the value is more or less the same?

Well, to be perfectly honest, the download versions, in my experience, is more lucrative than the flash version.

As Renee mentioned, the free hour / 15 mins etc. promos on MG’s require the player to have the download software. Also, many of the new MG innovations / functions (multi language, free spins etc) require the VIPER client.

    But…

I suppose it also depends on the affiliate site. If it’s a site that promotes no download casinos, and it ranks well on related terms, it would send just as many visitors, and I actually think the conversion rate (click –> registration) should be higher.

Personally I have always preferred downloads. They look better and they seem to run more fluently than flash/java. But from an affiliate/operating point of view I am interested in how the general consensus is regarding these products?

When all is said and done can a flash/java casino then perform as well as a download version? And if no how bad are they?

    Kind regards,
    Mike

Is there no one with some thoughts on this matter?

It’s a difficult question, think it depends on the individual too.

I like playing on Flash software – simple and quick.

On the other hand, I think the download is probably better for conversions seeing that an icons remains on the user’s desktop whereas the player has to remember the casino they played on and go to it in Internet Explorer.

Plus casinos use all sorts of gimmicks/promos in the icons to attract the attention of the players.

I like to play in a flash casino especially to try a casino game. If you don’t like the game you don’t need to deinstall the casino software.
I find the graphics and sound in no download casinos as good as in the ones to download.
Anyway both version convert for me.
