InactiveWhile I know its tough to implement, you should try and set up your websites so that you know who is playing where. This obviously works better if you have a login system set up for the site, and there are a few more variables. But just one example:
(1) PlayerA visits your site. Goes to casino reviews. Visits 3 reviews, and the last trace of him on your site is at XXXCasino.
(2) You check your stats later, and XXXCasino has one new player signed up and already deposited.
Obviously by that you can deduce from this that PlayerA plays at XXXCasino. Make a note of it in a spreadsheet. If you notice him disappear after a month, perhaps get in contact with him and ask why.
I did this previously for a poker room. Someone played there for two months solid, generating a ton of revenue, then stopped playing. He was a user set up with my site already(older site – not this one) and I contacted him to ask why he had disappeared for a month. That feedback is great because (1) you get to understand individuals reasons more, (2) you know there’s no shady business going on with the site in question and (3) you can work to get that person back, or at another site, or talk to the site in question if the reason was something like “Support was really bad” or “they screwed me out of a bonus”.

InactiveMaybe that works for some sites… However, I typically have about 60-70% more downloads and fun players than real money players. Sometimes they convert. Sometimes they convert at the same time that other people download.
I think it would be very difficult to follow their clicks to the casino and to registration. Maybe I am wrong.

InactiveI am in a very different situation than most, but I have a lot of contact with many of my players. My site started as a print magazine, so we had a devoted readership, and contact with many readers. We have a forum, and I encourage players to email me all the time to let me know how they like or dislike a casino. Once I open that dialogue I strive to keep it open.
That said, I find that on the whole things track pretty well with what the players tell me. I have had some problems which some day I will talk about in the private forum. But players will play for a month and then quit a casino. Why? Here are some of the main reasons.
1. They think the casino is not lucky for them.
2. Slow Cashouts! And they get dicked around when trying to cash out. This could be an entire thread but just a couple examples–Casino Rewards requires them to send a screenshot of their Neteller account! (Come on Ryan.) Profitshare puts the money back in their account, and says they didn’t meet the wagering when they deposited without a bonus. It takes many phone calls & weeks to get the withdrawal, and they get really pissed when they decide to just play and lose the money back.
3. Bad customer service. (See numerous threads about Belle Rock at Casinomeister.)What do you consider a whale?
I have much more to say on this and will post again when I get more time.

Inactivehmmm, is this the same as a player making a deposit for $6600, then all the sudden it disappears from stats and upon inquiry it is called credit card fraud? I don’t understand…ooh….btw….with Fortune Lounge…

InactiveHad the same going on with fortune, but it was a chargeback. Second chargeback in 5 years for me, and the first time someone stuck me with it.
At Referback I suddenly have a high % of accounts closed. Never used to happen to me either.
This month overall has been really lousy performance from most Micros.

GuestOn the casino rewards requirements for cash out; do they ask for the screen shot more than once?
personally I wouldn’t have and don’t see a big problem with that because its all right there to be had; so it becomes just a matter of whether you’re willing to share that info or not with them; and if you think about it; they already have the info anyway, they are just wanting to confirm.
However if it was a situation where they were consistently denying cashins because “the fax didn’t arrive legible” or some other BS to try and get around the fact that the player had legit tried to meet the demands put on them …
Then I would have to reconsider… strongly, whether I wanted to promote them or not; however that has not been my experience with CR and I’d be surprised to find out they were using such tactics.
I have long ago come to the conclusion that a certain amount of hassle is going to be endured; even at the best of circumstances when it comes to dealing with OCs.
And I tell my readers that; deal with it; or don’t gamble online. That said; I expect the casinos to be doing their very damn best to pay the people because quite frankly, its stupid not to pay them. Its even stupider to delay paying them. If you know you’re going to end up paying them anyway, all a casino is doing is ruining itself with these jump thru the hoops tactics and by now; OG should have grown up enough to get their heads out of their asses and realize that!!!
… sorry, a sore spot if you can’t tell.
most the money is made off of high rollers, at least that is my experience. So by not paying the small timers, using delay tactics, OCs merely are guaranteeing that maybe not today, but someday the high rollers are going to hear about how the small players were treated, … get nervous and then when they here another complaint, pehaps it will take 2 more … but they will eventually get the message and cut their losses befure they truly become losses.
In other words, they’ll leave that place before they give it a chance to screw them, EVEN if the casino has always treated them right. Trust me on that.
and that’s what a lot of OCs fail to see. They can’t see the dollar for the dime in front of them and its time OG acted like the billion dollar a year industry that it is; and stop the penny ante BS!
If the people win, pay them! They’ll be back to return the money 10 times over if you’re just smart enough to give it some leash.

well I had a lot more to say on this subject and got started off on what’s wrong with OG. lol.. now I got to go cool down before I can make any further intelligent posts.
