No, we will not delete or censor you Fergie, I know you have worked long and hard to give people that perception of CAP.
It’ sad that when you decided to launch your own message board targeted at the webmaster community you felt the best way to make it prosper was to smear CAP and use your long term membership here as a spring broad.
I guess people do what they feel they have to sometimes.
I know the feeling is not mutual, but I have enjoyed the positive presence you brought to CAP in the past. Good Luck with your new ventures. I think you will find its not an easy task moderating a community and not everyone will agree with every decision you make either.
Perhaps some day, if you are sucessful, you will read a post much like this one at YOUR board. You will know then how bitter and hollow it makes you feel to see a person you trusted betray you. I dont wish it on you, but karma has a way of working like that.
People used to come on my old board and promote theirs. I didn’t see anything wrong with it because they were my friends….
Why couldn’t see promote her board…( not that she was ) or even mention it…
You have other webmasters with their links on here don’t you? I’m just trying to understand what she really did wrong….is all.In all Respect to both parties.
This whole situation is unfortunate. Fergie, you’ll be missed.
I hope someday you guys will be able to ‘forgive and forget.’ I think you can both benefit from each other; parting ways like this is counterproductive in my opinion. I’m sorry it came to this. :huh:
You know what?, I am sorry too Dave. I was trying to enjoy the weekend with my kids and did not see this sudden attack coming. Fergie wasnt banned so I dont know what prompted all this crap.
Its funny too because her buddy was posting that I banned Fergie and Janet posts right in the same thread… Fergie wasnt banned. But I may look at that as an option now that shes basically resigned her membership and she has taken this tact. Its probably not a good idea to allow her to continue to generate problems and hate for CAP here at our own forum.
Well… I better cool down and play some poker and just forget this happened. its ruined my evening enough already.

The “buddy” was my daughter, who heard about my loss of contact with people and got very mad. She did not tell me about the post until after. I would have asked her not to, as I have no wish to stir up shit, I just felt unfairly treated. I was very upset that my ability to contact over a years worth of people and contacts was erased behind my back, and with no warning.
So, she got the details wrong, but I corrected it – I posted to correct her, to say that I wasn’t banned, it was just the inter-CAP messaging and emails that were blocked. So shoot me for clarifying things. I guess it would be preferrable to let people read that and suppose that I had been banned?
After that I was banned, however temporarily, as i came back to the forum and was told my IP address was banned. That’s when I turned off the computer, rather upset, and went out visiting.
YOu talk about your weekend being ruined. Good grief. What effect do you think my being cut off from contacts and fellow webmasters has on me and my business?
I am not getting into a flame war with you at my own board. You are being banned now. You are adding nothing prouductive now but flaming me and trolling for visitors. Ok call me the great censor. You’re history now.
No hard feelings, but its not worth it to me to have this shit going on where I work. CAP is a business oriented forum, you can roast me all you want at your version of “This Affiliate Programs Sucks”.

Hey Everyone,
I take the side of my best friend the Professor 100%. The Professor has spent alot of time and effort providing CAP as a place for all here to meet. The Professor showed me some posts at your board that were not very friendly that were later deleted. The Professor is a good man with a heart of gold. I certainly understand how he feels at this time. I personally would not be a member of any other board on the net.As a long time member of CAP, I have read pretty much everything that goes on here and I can say that the Professor has never to this date made a bad judgement call in my opinion.
Don’t know what Fergie said in her own forum, but I’m guessing it couldn’t have been good or else this would not have happened.
No need for people to speculate, Lou’s integrity should be enough.
Sorry to see Fergie go, but the reputation and well being of CAP is more important than the expulsion of one member.
Thanks guys! I certainly appreciate the support. I am not perfect, far from it, but I do try my best to maintain a community where we can all grow our businesses and meet a few new friends. I guess its Inevitable that along the way you cant please everyone all the time.
Unfortunately it looks like now they are attacking Allan to spite me. I am sorry about that my friend. Hopefully they will get tired of this childishness and get back to work. Its a shame grown people have to behave like this.

I have to say I agree with Kevin 11 and the Captain. I’ve watched theses type of things go down on other forums and I believe you made the right choice Professor.
