So here is my second website. I think I learned quite a lot since building my first site, Sisters Casino Bonus.
I hope I have taken a step in the right direction. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thank you very much in advance!

August 24, 2008 at 9:42 pm #776659DorothyMemberThank you alexross for taking the time for the feedback. I will definately go through the tutorials and will try to get the insides of the site more presentable.
Thanks again! :hattip:
August 24, 2008 at 11:52 pm #776662neophyteMemberjust a thought, but you shouldn’t really have to get your hands too dirty with this kind of stuff.. there are many online publishing platforms which you can simply customise somewhat with minimal knowledge and effort without designing each page in a 3rd party html authoring package on your pc, or a web based one.
eg. wordpress (free CMS/ Blog software @wordpress.com) might be a good candidate as it has a WSIWYG editor, supports templates and there’s sh*t loads of them around for free..
there’s also lots of SEO plugins etc which will make your life a lot easier without you having to understand much except the basic principles.
I have actually moved to wpress for most of my sites now, and with a decent template and the right plugins, you can’t really go wrong as you have a good starting point and good code to play with.
anyway gl.
August 25, 2008 at 12:22 am #776663DorothyMemberalexross, I cleaned up this page after a quick CSS tutorial.
http://free-slot-tournaments.com/Free_Slot_Tournaments_Microgaming.html
As far as wordpress goes, another member mentioned to me that she was going to use it also. I will look into it in the future but for now, I will stick with what I am using. I don’t see me starting another project for a long while. I have my hands full at the moment. This is all still very overwhelming!
Thanks!
August 26, 2008 at 10:02 am #776786TramalosriMemberLike the design of the second one much better, easy on the eyes and enough call to action buttons.
Would maybe add a back to the top button in the end of each page, especially since you have your navigation bar up there, if you want them to check out other parts of the site.
Cheers
August 26, 2008 at 1:24 pm #776801DorothyMemberHenrikG,
Thanks for checking out the site and thank you very much for the idea of adding the back to the top button.
You are so right! It’s things like that I need to keep in mind that might seem like a small detail but makes a large impact!
Have a great day!
August 26, 2008 at 3:53 pm #776809AnonymousInactiveI like the site, it’s simple and easy to navigate. There are quite a bit of words on the homepage, which I think the average user would not take the time to read. It may be text heavy. You may want to divide some of that up or use headings or bullets to give some space.
Also, the box around the text on the homepae, “Microgaming casinos and Vegas Technology casinos….” does not completely surround the text. It looks sloppy.
Best of luck.

August 26, 2008 at 4:45 pm #776817DorothyMemberThank you focal! I will look into the box issue. It looks fine to me in IE and Firefox. Hmmm.. I wonder what it could be. I will see about rearranging the text a little too.
Thank you!
