This is an awesome question… Love it!

    My favorite gambling-esque movies are:

Rounders, with Matt Damon & Mike McDermott (LOVE this one… if you haven’t seen it… it’s a MUST!!!)
Casino, with Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci & Sharon Stone
Oceans 11 & 12, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon… and several others

Jill I like all of those as well.

I may need to treat myself to a gambling movie weekend this summer.

Well It’s not a movie but the Sopranos has some excellent card game scenes. Especially when Sill loses it and tells the boy to “clean up the cocksucking cheese” that was really funny.

I love the Sopranos and came to it quite late. I’m on series 5 about episode 10. They are running it here in the UK on sky atlantic. Wednesday nights are built around 9PM.

In Goodfellas as well they have a card scene. That is a fine movie and one of my faves of all time. De Niro was fantastic in that and Casino.

To pick a pure gambliong favourite is really difficult as it’s not an overcrowded sector.

It would have to be a film I could watch again and again and so I think “croupier” would be a good choice.

I agrree the suprano’s rock:guitar:- they stopped running it here in Aus for some reason. Good show. And you could include your fav sports movies if you wanted , gambling and sports movies, since you can bet on sports it still counts.

Havn’t seen croupier will have to look into it
